Overview of Professional Profile
Fatma graduated from Sultan Qaboos University in 2007 with a distinction in Marketing. During her university life, she
has been an active member of some groups such as the Marketing Club and HR Club. She has organized and
managed couple of the events such as, Tourism in Oman, the Internship Exhibition and car carnival. She has also
been awarded a trip to Australia to complete her summer internship program.
Fatma started her Human Resources career in February 2012 and she ensured that this is the career she wants to
focus on which made her decide to enroll in the Masters program of Liverpool University, which will enable her to
obtain Masters in Global Human Resources Management. Also she is undertaking the Global Professional in Human
Resource (GPHR) course so she can be a certified professional Human Resources Guru.
During her three years in Human Resources, Fatma has learned the key aspects of Human Resources which are,
Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Mobility, Strategic HR Management, Compensation and Benefits,
Organization effectiveness, Talent Development and Employee Relations.
Throughout Fatma’s career she has participated and attended various training and courses to enhance her
knowledge. Some of the courses she attended are Six Thinking Hats, Project Management, Coaching, Building
Relationships, Assertive and Time Management. Fatma has also being interested in attending seminars and
conference such as Oman Debate, Building National Talents, Renewable Energy, Robin Sharma, Workshop by
Brand Oman, and Women in Business Conference.
Fatma has been awarded scholarship from Ministry of Higher Education to pursue her masters degree which she is
currently doing in New York University (NYC Campus).
Beside been awarded the scholarship, Fatma has other major achievement in 2015, one of them is being awarded
the title of Young Business professional in 2015 for Oman where she was awarded this title in an event ceremony
held in May 2015.
Since Fatma’s early age, she has been passionate about event management and planning whereby she has always
taken initiatives to plan the family members events. This has grown with her to her career as well whereby; she
organized and planned some of the company’s successful event. After she decided to carry on Human Resources as
career, she ensured to establish an organization for event management.
Fatma is also the Co-Founder and CEO of S&F Events Management LLC, which provides luxury and elegant event
solution to its’ clients. S&F Events is mainly organizing personal events such as, weddings, birthdays, baby shower,
bridal shower, anniversaries, graduation parties, family gatherings, tea party, …etc.
