1. To whom it may concern,
I gladly write this letter of recommendation for Ehsan Samavatian and his numerous
accomplishments as a Marketing employee during the summer of 2008 to 2011. As the Director
of Marketing for AvaGroup I had the distinct pleasure of working with and overseeing Ehsan on
a variety of marketing initiatives for the three years he interned at our organization. Punctuality
and accomplishing the task before deadline were his inspiration attitudes. When Ehsan joined us,
he did not have any first-hand experience in communications, but he quickly exceeded our
expectations by completing new and challenging projects at a professional level. As a nonprofit
that depends on a strong marketing strategy, Ehsan’s work left a lasting impact on our
organization and places him in our top five outstanding interns we have had in the past 10 years.
Ehsan’s passion for understanding marketing principals and public relations is evident in his
work. He helped develop a marketing strategy for our 2010 Community Campaign by
conducting relevant research on constituent bases and crafting effective “on-message” materials
for our customer. Additionally, Ehsan demonstrated professionalism and respect by timely
submitting his projects and communicating clearly in staff meetings. Also he enjoys doing the
tasks in a group and being flexible to listen to contradict opinions. Our team was impressed by
his presentations, entitled “nonprofit marketing best practices”, which reflected his growth as a
promising expert in marketing. The constituents and members who attended commented on his
energy and analytical insight. He can be a good leader, I saw it when he was working with
group, he knows how to behave with his group members , impress and motivate them because
he is charisma, and he really grabs their attention .Currently , a graduate degree at your school
will formalize his training and give him a specialization in marketing that nonprofits desperately
need.
I strongly recommend Ehsan as a graduate student of Marketing at your University. As the head
of our marketing team, I have no doubt in my mind that Ehsan’s diverse background has
prepared him for graduate studies. His passion for marketing in the nonprofit sector will make
him as valuable in the classroom as he was in our organization. I am confident he will be a strong
asset to your program.
