My Senior Year In High School
At Last, I'm a Senior When junior year ended last summer, I felt like I knew exactly what was coming my way–– after all, I watched three different
groups of my friends go through senior years of their own. It was finally my turn to experience senior year, something it seemed I had known about
for years, and I felt like senior year would be easygoing and uneventful. Now, it has taken just a few short months to realize how incorrect I was. If
senior year has taught me anything, it is that one never really knows what comes next for them, even if they have a good idea. The monumental highs,
as well as the deepest of lows, have kept me on my toes throughout my senior year. From the second I stepped into Burns Flat– Dill City High School
for my last round of high school, I was expecting a victory lap of sorts. Working on prom and managing football concession stand was a thing for
juniors to worry about, and I had served my time. All my classes were classes I selected mainly to have more time to work on lengthier assignments
from other subjects. Looking back now, it is easy to see why my first busy week of senior year, Homecoming Week, felt like less of a wake
–up call,
and more like a kick in the head. The senior parade float would not build itself, Homegoing was not just going to fall into place, the dance needed set
up and DJed, and as a student–council officer it would have been wrong of me not to dress up for Spirit Week. I had so many new responsibilities

How Senior Year Changed My Life
Senior year has been a rollercoaster of emotions and events. I got to experience things I have missed out on, like hanging out with friends, singing
in front of people, and being more comfortable in my own skin. I think this has been the most eventful year. From buying a new dog to my great
grandpa passing. It has been a whirlwind. I am usually a socially backwards person. I tend to stick with a small group and not venture far out of the
circle. This year I hung out with friends, went on car rides, and even went to a cookout. I realized how much I missed out on, and it kinda opened my
eyes to try a little harder to hang out more. This year my great grandpa passed away, and it was an emotional rollercoaster. He went to christmas dinner

Senior Year
The summer before senior year is when many people attempt to reevaluate their lives, and change anything about themselves that does not satisfy them.
One of the greatest motivators for change, is knowing that you should be better. Not just that you wish to be different, but knowing you have fallen
short of your own potential. When I observed myself going into senior year, I knew that I had fallen short of my potential–I was not being my best
self–and I set out to change that. Running has never been my thing. I was always the girl lagging behind when the class ran laps in gym; always the
one with the slowest mile time. I loathed running more than anything–yet I envied those who could run with ease. At the beginning of this summer,

Essay on My Senior Year of High School
Having spent twelve years of my school life in just one small red brick building, the years tend to fade into each other. But the year I remember most
clearly and significantly is my senior year of high school, where I finally began to appreciate what this institution offered to any student who stopped
to look. Before, school had been a chore, many times I simply did not feel motivated toward a subject enough to do the homework well, and seeing the
same familiar faces around ever since I was 5 years old grew very tiring soon enough. But I began to see things from a different angle once I became a
senior.
First of all, there are roughly only 800 students in my entire school, from kindergarten up to upperclassmen and women, and my...show more content...
Teachers came in a variety. Some were genuinely interested in what they were teaching us, and some seemed even more bored than the students
themselves. But for the most part, all the teachers cared about each student as an individual, and would always greet you in the hall or ask how you
were doing. As I entered 12th grade, I began to notice a change in my classes– most of the time, there was more emphasis on participating in
discussions than just completing homework exactly to the mark. For instance, my AP English class solely focused on debates over what we were
reading, to the extent where everyone, both students and teacher, had a particular view to express.
My school's philosophy on teaching was to turn out well–rounded individuals who did their work, and everyone was treated equally. The only
exceptions were that since my school was very focused on athletics, kids who played a lot of sports seemed to be the most popular with teachers,
while the abilities of drama students and musicians seemed almost entirely overlooked. Also, because of the small size of the school, once you gained
a reputation it really stuck to you, so there was definitely a difference between how the "slackers" and the "responsible" ones were treated by teachers.
In 12th grade, everything seemed to come together for the departing seniors, and I noticed a change come over us. For once,

The Importance Of My Senior Year Of High School
Starting my senior year of high school, looking back I would have never guess the opportunities and challenges that have been thrown my way. My
sixth grade year, before I moved to Lennox I was very confused on what I wanted for myself and how to go about that properly. This downfall
prepared me when I moved to Lennox to make sure I took full advantage of my schooling and the opportunities given to me. My life has been
confusing at times but it is the experiences and flaws that I have gone through that have shaped me into who I am today. Being the youngest in the
family with an older brother, living up to the standards and expectations was hard and often difficult to complete. I lacked in school and wasn't

There in the spring I would throw shot put and discus and that is when I knew that if I wanted to make a name for myself it needed to start right then
and there with academics and training. Continuing my life into college my biggest outlook is to get a degree in social work. There's nothing that I
would love to do more than help people in any way that I can. Helping people has always been in the back of my head and I would love the
opportunity to touch other people's lives. It is important to me to help as many people as I can, I would like to extend this into my family in the future.
The thing I'm working the hardest for at this moment for my future would be to make it to the Olympics for shot put and or discus. I've had this
dream since I was very young and just starting out. It would be so amazing to have a USA uniform on my back and getting to do the sport I
absolutely adore. I would love to work even harder and dedicate more time for this sport and I am still managing that I am afraid that I will fail and
continue to think about the dream coming true instead of living it out the way I would love to. I will always see myself with a family, the thought of
pouring the love that my parents poured into me over my own kids seems so honoring. I am driven, to make others' lives as

Personal Narrative: At Last, I M A Senior
At Last, I'm a Senior This senior year has been amazing so far. This has been my favorite year out of the four years in high school. I have done so
much more and been involved in a lot more things. I have also focused more in class so that I can get all A's. I knew that coming into senior year
would be hard because it would be the last of everything. The last pep rally was fun and sad at the same time. It did not really hit me till later on
because at the time I was not thinking of it being the last. The last football game hit me hard because I like watching football and going to the
football games. I was actually thinking about how sad I would be when football ended before the season had even started! This years spirit week I

Senior Year Speech
Senior year came on much faster than expected. One day I'm the freshman trying to find where the Geography classroom was and the next, I'm the
senior helping the new freshmen find their classes. They tell you these four years would fly, but until you experience it yourself, you won't believe
how fast they actually go. So much changes in these four years and if you blink, you just might miss it. Throughout these four years, I have made new
friends and grown apart from old ones. I have learned what's really important and what's not. I finally understand that it's not just about earning the
grade, but actually being able to apply the knowledge to everyday life. The most important skill that I have acquired in high school is a good work ethic,

My Senior Year In High School
My Senior Year in High School was More Fun than Work
As I walked across what appeared to be a mile–long stage to receive my diploma, I realized I had put in a lot of hard work leading up to that moment,
but my senior year was not one of them. I enjoyed myself as much as possible during my senior year and was able to have some of the best times of
my life that I will remember forever. I participated in fundraising events, prom king competition and matured leading up to my senior year which was
not typical of myself.
I raised money for our baseball team because I jumped at the opportunity to bid in a raffle to purchase a crГЁme pie to throw in the face of my
nemesis, the principal. I knew she was only going to let one student do it and that...show more content...
I was hopeful that my classmates would prefer to vote for a couple and not just the two most popular contestants because some of the other entrants
were more popular than us. I was excited the night of the prom, and everyone looked spectacular that night in their dapper tuxedos and gowns
covered in shiny sequins. As I anxiously waited for the announcing of the king and queen, the tension was unnerving, and I was sweating buckets. I
was announced first as the king, and as I stood there, I wondered what would happen if some other girl won queen. We were crowned king and queen
and were ecstatic as we danced the night away as the music filled the air.
I grew up a lot and matured to a level that allowed me to see my real potential. I almost did not graduate at all because I was immature, had a
substance abuse problem and quit high school several times. On this final attempt I tried to do things the right way and stop drinking and using illegal
drugs, and this helped me focus on the work required of me. I was able to obtain and hold a part–time job at a local grocery store and stay on top of my
required work for school without those distractions. Doing this allowed me to mature, take on a different perspective of things and be a responsible
person. By the time I was graduating, I already had a two–bedroom apartment with grown–up responsibilities and monthly bills to pay.
These events allowed me to slow down and enjoy my experiences during my senior year and make it

Senior Year Essay
The first quarter is always the hardest for me, this one especially as I work a lot after school. Being senior year I was looking to take an easy route,
but instead I took hard classes to keep challenging myself; looking back now I should have taken the easy route. The biggest struggle has been
finding time to work in homework after work, getting my work in on time, and I'm looking to improve my quality of work for the next quarter.
Working after school is a good way to make money and I love my job, but it has been a challenge to find time for work. Usually after work I have to
drive back to parkdale and do some chores, giving me a small time for homework. I love sleep to much to sacrifice it for work. I am working on my time

My Senior Year Of High School
My senior year of high school and I still felt like a freshman. The typical freshman vibe of not fitting in due to the fact that I was a new kid in school
and the majority of people had been there since junior kindergarten. These four years at Cannon School have been an emotional rollercoaster. Due to
the fact that I couldn't find any friends for the first two years. I thought that I would find a group that I could hang out with but, it didn't seem like I
was fitingt into any of the cliques. I had trouble maintaining good grades and overall, I was dealing with loss in my family and depression. As a last
ditch effort to be more outgoing in high school, I decided to go to the black history performance interest meeting. The performance was about a month
away. This meeting was a student led interest meeting we're we all thought of what we wanted to do. I thought for a few minutes to see what I would
feel comfortable doing. Since the only place I felt comfortable at school was in my poetry class. I decided to do poetry since that is one of the few
things that I felt like I was good at, poetry at the time gave me a since of security and taught me how to be confident in my own skin, it was helping
me become comfortable in my own voice. The only problem with this was I had never performed any of my poems in front of anyone before.
Deciding to perform poetry in front of my school soon became one of the most important days of my life.
After the meeting two weeks had passed and I

Senior Year Research Paper
Do you think that seniors should be allowed to skip senior year of highschool? Is senior year unproductive and not as educational as the previous
years of high school? Is skipping senior year and going straight to college the best for the students.
Senior year is important to go so you can get prepared about the things you need to know in college. It gives them time to figure out what they want
do in life. During Senior year, students are allowed to take high level courses that let the students get college credits if they do well on the national
test. Also some students may not be ready to go to college just yet and still needs their senior year to prepare and havent met the maturaty level yet
even if they have all the credits they need.

My Senior Year Of High School
My Senior year of high school was one of the best years of my life by far. I experienced so much throughout the year and grew so much as a person,
experiencing new things and learning lessons along the way. I had a lot of hard times followed by some of the best times which introduced me to
some people that have changed my life in many ways. I am thankful for everyone and everything that happened to me Senior year because it has made
me who I am today. It all started the end of my Junior year of high school. I had been working out for some time, going to the gym and trying to lose
weight and get in shape for football. Ben and David, my best friends, had talked me into playing football a few months prior so we all decided to
start training a few months before mandatory practices started. I didn't know it at the time but it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I
played football my whole life, from the time I was in first grade up until freshman year when I quit because of asthma and coaching issues. After
quitting I gained a lot of weight and wasn't very healthy which ultimately made me unhappy, so when they said I should play senior year, I was all
for it. So, we start working out and continue until about a month before school gets out and then they stop showing up to our lifting workouts.
That wasn't an option for me so I kept going until football conditioning started in the summer. Once summer began, that's all I did. Football was
everything. I put everything I had into it and didn't look back. I went to conditioning every day and pushed myself, becoming faster and stronger,
losing weight and becoming happier. Over the course of those few months I lost forty pounds and was in the best shape I had ever been. August
came around and we started practicing with full pads, which meant it was time to start hitting! We began to practice every day, getting ready to
play our first game of the season against Akron North. The first day of Senior year starts and it goes just like every other first day of school. I go to all
my classes, sit there and do nothing all day long. After the first week, it starts to go by extremely fast. We had practice every day after school, which I
always looked forward especially

Senior Year Personal Statement
Senior year can be a moment of truth for college students. It is the time where we make life–changing decisions about our future, and while many of
my friends have chosen to take a year off to "figure it out," I have always been certain of the path I would like to take. When asked what they
would like to do with their lives, many of my fellow peers cringe with the thought of such responsibility; however, when asked what I want to do
with my life, the answer seems rather simple. As clichГ© as it may sound, I have only ever wanted to make a difference. My family is involved in just
about every field of the criminal justice system. My aunts and uncles work in bail, parole, and the police force, while my mother is a probation officer
and my father is a judge. Since I was a child, I was amazed by their stories and believed them to be real–life superheroes. Their passion for their careers
ignited something in me. This was something I had to be a part of. I have been fortunate enough to grow up in a family that encouraged education,
hard–work, and curiosity. When people do not understand things, they have the tendency to make judgments. My inquisitive nature has made me
wonder why people think the way they do, instead of judging their...show more content...
My initial interest in therapy led me to the Sterling Center, a clinic that many probation officers refer their clients to. I was given the opportunity to
sit in on a weekly Boundaries & Sensitivy group for registered sex offenders. My supervisor led the class discussions and I would take notes on the
probationers progress. I currently intern at the Brookline District Court in the Probation Department, where we oversee probationers and make sure
they are compliant with their conditions of probation. These opportunities have helped me realize that everyone has an interesting story to tell and a
need for compassion and

Senior Year Accomplishments
With a year full of hurdles I was set to overcome, senior year did not seem like the right time for me to defeat my dragon. My introverted qualities
have grown tremendously over the course of my life due to traumatic events I have been forced to face on my own. Since adolescence, I have
always been known as the "quiet girl" in the room. I always took this as a compliment, until recently, when I realized I was missing out on crucial
events that would help prepare me for the future. Through careful consideration, I decided that senior year would be the ideal time to slay my dragon,
introversion. At the beginning of twelfth grade, I met a group of people through a mutual friend. I did not enjoy being around such a large group at
first, and I

My Senior Year Of High School Essay
My senior year of high school was quickly coming to an end, and I found myself looking for a job for the summer. College cost increase every year
and I knew that if I wanted extra spending money, I would have to contribute. Summer employment is a great way to earn extra money plus, I am a
person who likes to stay busy, and I realized having a job during the break would help accomplish both. Having played multiple sports in high
school, I was always doing something throughout my day and I knew I couldn 't have a job like lifeguarding where you have to sit and watch a
pool for hours. Having a task to perform or a job to get done are things that I enjoy, and now that I knew I wanted to work I started my first job search
by networking with people I thought had connections that could help me land a good job and this search led me down my learning path.
My job search resulted in my assistant baseball coach giving me the number of a businessman who owned a dry walling company. Having limited
work experience and no experience working in construction I found this opportunity intriguing because I am never afraid to work out and I know I
can work hard. Sending a text to the number quickly led to an introductory conversation with a man whom I would come to learn a lot from in the next
two months. Norm Orban, a self–employed businessman who owns a dry walling company, manages a six man crew that does local jobs around the
area I live. Norm's company responded to a variety of projects,

Senior Year Transition
My senior year has been one of transition. I feel like I am wrapping up college, and my classes are like the "lose ends" that I have to take care of before
I move on to the next phase of my life. Although, I somewhat approach my classes as a checklist, I also am very invested in getting good grades. I
have the intent to go to Law school therefore I need to be intentional with my grades and the effort that I put into how I spend my time. Which is why
I think I struggle in this class. There is an intentionality to being a good student, that makes it easy to go through the motions but in this class there is an
emphasis on our intentions of our intention of being a student. To me there are some things that don't need to be meaningful and have a

Narrative Essay On Baby Sister
It was the end of my senior year one month away from graduation. When I got home my parents said they had some good news; they looked at one
another with glowing eyes. Were they having a special moment? No, they were hiding something from me and I could feel that something wasn't right.
They were happy about something I don't think I've ever seen them that excited. My mother showed me an ultrasound imagine. I was going to have a
baby sister .I asked how many months she was; she answered four. I was so upset that my mother would keep something like that to herself. I tried
to putting a fake smile on my face but it was nearly impossible. Tears were running down my checks. I immediately went to my room. I knew that my
mother felt awful it was my intention .I didn't know what to feel on one side I had so much anger but on the other side I always wanted a younger sibling
.
After 16 years of my life about to graduate and go off to college finding out you're going to have a baby sister is a shocking surprise. I felt as if I was
on a roller coaster, my emotions were twisting and spinning all over the place. I had an older sibling but never was home. I always was the big baby
of the house. I didn't think that would ever change until you find out there's another baby on board.
Of course I always wanted baby sister or brother that I could play with and dress up. Have special moments together. My friends would tell me that
siblings are annoying and always get what they want. That

College Admissions Essay
In 210 days at 3:00 in the afternoon, I'll be sitting up on stage with all my classmates in the new gym wearing a brand–new dress covered by a red
paper–thin gown comparable to a hospital gown with a cap bobby pinned into my head probably tearing up to the song "100 Years to Live" in the
senior video. How did 13 years fell like an eternity but show up in the blink of an eye? I always knew that someday I would finally be a senior and
graduate, but sitting here in my college composition class, senior year, it still doesn't feel like I'm about to clean up my locker and head out for the
very last time. When I was in elementary, I always thought the senior class were like the gods and goddesses of Mount Olympus. They were
outstanding athletes, had mature relationships and could do whatever they wanted because they were practically adults. I always looked at them in
awe thinking that someday I would take over their reign as monarchy and inherit all their perfections. As I progressed through the grades, I awaited the
day where everything would snap into place and that I would be considered the queen of Friend.
When I finally triumphed over elementary, my next quest was junior high. For the next two years we were the Puerto Rico of the U.S. We shared the
same teachers but lacked full citizenship to take part in all high school activities including sports and homecoming/ honors night elections. Then
Freshmen year came into focus. I tried to dress and look nice all year long to prove my eligibility to be in the presence of the upper classmen.
Little did I knew that for the next two years we would be continually labeled as lower classmen by the juniors and seniors. Before my freshmen and
sophomore years no one even used those words but now suddenly that's all I heard. They used this so called executive power to put a travel ban on
all underclassmen to sit in the back of the bus on the way to games. Unless you were pardoned to sit in the back for being their favorite, you were
stuck in the front doubled up with another under classmen, without chance at a visa or ticket to the back.
Entering junior year, I was finally considered an upper classman with few limitations reserved for the senior class. The upper classmen were

Senior Year In High School Essay
Although the first year of high school is a big transition, it's crucial in determining the remaining years of high school because, First, having good
grades will determine whether or not you get accepted the university you want and there are more opportunities for scholarships. Second, joining a club
in high school will give you an insight in leadership and teamwork. Third, Slacking of your freshman year in high school is a bad thing to do because
it will affect your senior year and all the classes you missed or failed, you will have to retake all of them. Lastly, all of these factors all come into play
your senior year they can either help you or make your high school years miserable. First, having good grades in your freshman year will open up the
doors to more opportunities coming your way. My freshman year wasn't the best I got D's and C's and almost failed two classes. Laziness played a big
factor in why I got bad grades I was lazy to do homework and any projects. I had some advice from my cousin's they would always tell me not to mess
up freshman year, but, I ignored them and you start to pay for it senior year by retaking all those classes you failed. To get better grades I set up a
planner and wrote down due dates and set up a time organizer at home and this helped me better organize my time to do the work. My advice to all
new freshmen is to set up a work schedule for your work it will better your studying habits and make you aware of due dates and the time you

My Senior Year In High School

  • 1. My Senior Year In High School At Last, I'm a Senior When junior year ended last summer, I felt like I knew exactly what was coming my way–– after all, I watched three different groups of my friends go through senior years of their own. It was finally my turn to experience senior year, something it seemed I had known about for years, and I felt like senior year would be easygoing and uneventful. Now, it has taken just a few short months to realize how incorrect I was. If senior year has taught me anything, it is that one never really knows what comes next for them, even if they have a good idea. The monumental highs, as well as the deepest of lows, have kept me on my toes throughout my senior year. From the second I stepped into Burns Flat– Dill City High School for my last round of high school, I was expecting a victory lap of sorts. Working on prom and managing football concession stand was a thing for juniors to worry about, and I had served my time. All my classes were classes I selected mainly to have more time to work on lengthier assignments from other subjects. Looking back now, it is easy to see why my first busy week of senior year, Homecoming Week, felt like less of a wake –up call, and more like a kick in the head. The senior parade float would not build itself, Homegoing was not just going to fall into place, the dance needed set up and DJed, and as a student–council officer it would have been wrong of me not to dress up for Spirit Week. I had so many new responsibilities from the previous Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. How Senior Year Changed My Life Senior year has been a rollercoaster of emotions and events. I got to experience things I have missed out on, like hanging out with friends, singing in front of people, and being more comfortable in my own skin. I think this has been the most eventful year. From buying a new dog to my great grandpa passing. It has been a whirlwind. I am usually a socially backwards person. I tend to stick with a small group and not venture far out of the circle. This year I hung out with friends, went on car rides, and even went to a cookout. I realized how much I missed out on, and it kinda opened my eyes to try a little harder to hang out more. This year my great grandpa passed away, and it was an emotional rollercoaster. He went to christmas dinner Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Senior Year The summer before senior year is when many people attempt to reevaluate their lives, and change anything about themselves that does not satisfy them. One of the greatest motivators for change, is knowing that you should be better. Not just that you wish to be different, but knowing you have fallen short of your own potential. When I observed myself going into senior year, I knew that I had fallen short of my potential–I was not being my best self–and I set out to change that. Running has never been my thing. I was always the girl lagging behind when the class ran laps in gym; always the one with the slowest mile time. I loathed running more than anything–yet I envied those who could run with ease. At the beginning of this summer, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Essay on My Senior Year of High School Having spent twelve years of my school life in just one small red brick building, the years tend to fade into each other. But the year I remember most clearly and significantly is my senior year of high school, where I finally began to appreciate what this institution offered to any student who stopped to look. Before, school had been a chore, many times I simply did not feel motivated toward a subject enough to do the homework well, and seeing the same familiar faces around ever since I was 5 years old grew very tiring soon enough. But I began to see things from a different angle once I became a senior. First of all, there are roughly only 800 students in my entire school, from kindergarten up to upperclassmen and women, and my...show more content... Teachers came in a variety. Some were genuinely interested in what they were teaching us, and some seemed even more bored than the students themselves. But for the most part, all the teachers cared about each student as an individual, and would always greet you in the hall or ask how you were doing. As I entered 12th grade, I began to notice a change in my classes– most of the time, there was more emphasis on participating in discussions than just completing homework exactly to the mark. For instance, my AP English class solely focused on debates over what we were reading, to the extent where everyone, both students and teacher, had a particular view to express. My school's philosophy on teaching was to turn out well–rounded individuals who did their work, and everyone was treated equally. The only exceptions were that since my school was very focused on athletics, kids who played a lot of sports seemed to be the most popular with teachers, while the abilities of drama students and musicians seemed almost entirely overlooked. Also, because of the small size of the school, once you gained a reputation it really stuck to you, so there was definitely a difference between how the "slackers" and the "responsible" ones were treated by teachers. In 12th grade, everything seemed to come together for the departing seniors, and I noticed a change come over us. For once, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. The Importance Of My Senior Year Of High School Starting my senior year of high school, looking back I would have never guess the opportunities and challenges that have been thrown my way. My sixth grade year, before I moved to Lennox I was very confused on what I wanted for myself and how to go about that properly. This downfall prepared me when I moved to Lennox to make sure I took full advantage of my schooling and the opportunities given to me. My life has been confusing at times but it is the experiences and flaws that I have gone through that have shaped me into who I am today. Being the youngest in the family with an older brother, living up to the standards and expectations was hard and often difficult to complete. I lacked in school and wasn't interested in doing my best,...show more content... There in the spring I would throw shot put and discus and that is when I knew that if I wanted to make a name for myself it needed to start right then and there with academics and training. Continuing my life into college my biggest outlook is to get a degree in social work. There's nothing that I would love to do more than help people in any way that I can. Helping people has always been in the back of my head and I would love the opportunity to touch other people's lives. It is important to me to help as many people as I can, I would like to extend this into my family in the future. The thing I'm working the hardest for at this moment for my future would be to make it to the Olympics for shot put and or discus. I've had this dream since I was very young and just starting out. It would be so amazing to have a USA uniform on my back and getting to do the sport I absolutely adore. I would love to work even harder and dedicate more time for this sport and I am still managing that I am afraid that I will fail and continue to think about the dream coming true instead of living it out the way I would love to. I will always see myself with a family, the thought of pouring the love that my parents poured into me over my own kids seems so honoring. I am driven, to make others' lives as Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Personal Narrative: At Last, I M A Senior At Last, I'm a Senior This senior year has been amazing so far. This has been my favorite year out of the four years in high school. I have done so much more and been involved in a lot more things. I have also focused more in class so that I can get all A's. I knew that coming into senior year would be hard because it would be the last of everything. The last pep rally was fun and sad at the same time. It did not really hit me till later on because at the time I was not thinking of it being the last. The last football game hit me hard because I like watching football and going to the football games. I was actually thinking about how sad I would be when football ended before the season had even started! This years spirit week I actually Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. Senior Year Speech Senior year came on much faster than expected. One day I'm the freshman trying to find where the Geography classroom was and the next, I'm the senior helping the new freshmen find their classes. They tell you these four years would fly, but until you experience it yourself, you won't believe how fast they actually go. So much changes in these four years and if you blink, you just might miss it. Throughout these four years, I have made new friends and grown apart from old ones. I have learned what's really important and what's not. I finally understand that it's not just about earning the grade, but actually being able to apply the knowledge to everyday life. The most important skill that I have acquired in high school is a good work ethic, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. My Senior Year In High School My Senior Year in High School was More Fun than Work As I walked across what appeared to be a mile–long stage to receive my diploma, I realized I had put in a lot of hard work leading up to that moment, but my senior year was not one of them. I enjoyed myself as much as possible during my senior year and was able to have some of the best times of my life that I will remember forever. I participated in fundraising events, prom king competition and matured leading up to my senior year which was not typical of myself. I raised money for our baseball team because I jumped at the opportunity to bid in a raffle to purchase a crГЁme pie to throw in the face of my nemesis, the principal. I knew she was only going to let one student do it and that...show more content... I was hopeful that my classmates would prefer to vote for a couple and not just the two most popular contestants because some of the other entrants were more popular than us. I was excited the night of the prom, and everyone looked spectacular that night in their dapper tuxedos and gowns covered in shiny sequins. As I anxiously waited for the announcing of the king and queen, the tension was unnerving, and I was sweating buckets. I was announced first as the king, and as I stood there, I wondered what would happen if some other girl won queen. We were crowned king and queen and were ecstatic as we danced the night away as the music filled the air. I grew up a lot and matured to a level that allowed me to see my real potential. I almost did not graduate at all because I was immature, had a substance abuse problem and quit high school several times. On this final attempt I tried to do things the right way and stop drinking and using illegal drugs, and this helped me focus on the work required of me. I was able to obtain and hold a part–time job at a local grocery store and stay on top of my required work for school without those distractions. Doing this allowed me to mature, take on a different perspective of things and be a responsible person. By the time I was graduating, I already had a two–bedroom apartment with grown–up responsibilities and monthly bills to pay. These events allowed me to slow down and enjoy my experiences during my senior year and make it Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. Senior Year Essay The first quarter is always the hardest for me, this one especially as I work a lot after school. Being senior year I was looking to take an easy route, but instead I took hard classes to keep challenging myself; looking back now I should have taken the easy route. The biggest struggle has been finding time to work in homework after work, getting my work in on time, and I'm looking to improve my quality of work for the next quarter. Working after school is a good way to make money and I love my job, but it has been a challenge to find time for work. Usually after work I have to drive back to parkdale and do some chores, giving me a small time for homework. I love sleep to much to sacrifice it for work. I am working on my time management and Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. My Senior Year Of High School My senior year of high school and I still felt like a freshman. The typical freshman vibe of not fitting in due to the fact that I was a new kid in school and the majority of people had been there since junior kindergarten. These four years at Cannon School have been an emotional rollercoaster. Due to the fact that I couldn't find any friends for the first two years. I thought that I would find a group that I could hang out with but, it didn't seem like I was fitingt into any of the cliques. I had trouble maintaining good grades and overall, I was dealing with loss in my family and depression. As a last ditch effort to be more outgoing in high school, I decided to go to the black history performance interest meeting. The performance was about a month away. This meeting was a student led interest meeting we're we all thought of what we wanted to do. I thought for a few minutes to see what I would feel comfortable doing. Since the only place I felt comfortable at school was in my poetry class. I decided to do poetry since that is one of the few things that I felt like I was good at, poetry at the time gave me a since of security and taught me how to be confident in my own skin, it was helping me become comfortable in my own voice. The only problem with this was I had never performed any of my poems in front of anyone before. Deciding to perform poetry in front of my school soon became one of the most important days of my life. After the meeting two weeks had passed and I Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 11. Senior Year Research Paper Do you think that seniors should be allowed to skip senior year of highschool? Is senior year unproductive and not as educational as the previous years of high school? Is skipping senior year and going straight to college the best for the students. Senior year is important to go so you can get prepared about the things you need to know in college. It gives them time to figure out what they want do in life. • 12. My Senior Year Of High School My Senior year of high school was one of the best years of my life by far. I experienced so much throughout the year and grew so much as a person, experiencing new things and learning lessons along the way. I had a lot of hard times followed by some of the best times which introduced me to some people that have changed my life in many ways. I am thankful for everyone and everything that happened to me Senior year because it has made me who I am today. It all started the end of my Junior year of high school. I had been working out for some time, going to the gym and trying to lose weight and get in shape for football. Ben and David, my best friends, had talked me into playing football a few months prior so we all decided to start training a few months before mandatory practices started. I didn't know it at the time but it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I played football my whole life, from the time I was in first grade up until freshman year when I quit because of asthma and coaching issues. After quitting I gained a lot of weight and wasn't very healthy which ultimately made me unhappy, so when they said I should play senior year, I was all for it. So, we start working out and continue until about a month before school gets out and then they stop showing up to our lifting workouts. That wasn't an option for me so I kept going until football conditioning started in the summer. Once summer began, that's all I did. Football was everything. I put everything I had into it and didn't look back. I went to conditioning every day and pushed myself, becoming faster and stronger, losing weight and becoming happier. Over the course of those few months I lost forty pounds and was in the best shape I had ever been. August came around and we started practicing with full pads, which meant it was time to start hitting! We began to practice every day, getting ready to play our first game of the season against Akron North. The first day of Senior year starts and it goes just like every other first day of school. I go to all my classes, sit there and do nothing all day long. After the first week, it starts to go by extremely fast. We had practice every day after school, which I always looked forward especially Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 13. Senior Year Personal Statement Senior year can be a moment of truth for college students. It is the time where we make life–changing decisions about our future, and while many of my friends have chosen to take a year off to "figure it out," I have always been certain of the path I would like to take. When asked what they would like to do with their lives, many of my fellow peers cringe with the thought of such responsibility; however, when asked what I want to do with my life, the answer seems rather simple. As clichГ© as it may sound, I have only ever wanted to make a difference. My family is involved in just about every field of the criminal justice system. My aunts and uncles work in bail, parole, and the police force, while my mother is a probation officer and my father is a judge. Since I was a child, I was amazed by their stories and believed them to be real–life superheroes. Their passion for their careers ignited something in me. This was something I had to be a part of. I have been fortunate enough to grow up in a family that encouraged education, hard–work, and curiosity. When people do not understand things, they have the tendency to make judgments. My inquisitive nature has made me wonder why people think the way they do, instead of judging their...show more content... My initial interest in therapy led me to the Sterling Center, a clinic that many probation officers refer their clients to. I was given the opportunity to sit in on a weekly Boundaries & Sensitivy group for registered sex offenders. My supervisor led the class discussions and I would take notes on the probationers progress. I currently intern at the Brookline District Court in the Probation Department, where we oversee probationers and make sure they are compliant with their conditions of probation. These opportunities have helped me realize that everyone has an interesting story to tell and a need for compassion and Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 14. Senior Year Accomplishments With a year full of hurdles I was set to overcome, senior year did not seem like the right time for me to defeat my dragon. My introverted qualities have grown tremendously over the course of my life due to traumatic events I have been forced to face on my own. Since adolescence, I have always been known as the "quiet girl" in the room. I always took this as a compliment, until recently, when I realized I was missing out on crucial events that would help prepare me for the future. Through careful consideration, I decided that senior year would be the ideal time to slay my dragon, introversion. At the beginning of twelfth grade, I met a group of people through a mutual friend. I did not enjoy being around such a large group at first, and I Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 15. My Senior Year Of High School Essay My senior year of high school was quickly coming to an end, and I found myself looking for a job for the summer. College cost increase every year and I knew that if I wanted extra spending money, I would have to contribute. Summer employment is a great way to earn extra money plus, I am a person who likes to stay busy, and I realized having a job during the break would help accomplish both. Having played multiple sports in high school, I was always doing something throughout my day and I knew I couldn 't have a job like lifeguarding where you have to sit and watch a pool for hours. Having a task to perform or a job to get done are things that I enjoy, and now that I knew I wanted to work I started my first job search by networking with people I thought had connections that could help me land a good job and this search led me down my learning path. My job search resulted in my assistant baseball coach giving me the number of a businessman who owned a dry walling company. Having limited work experience and no experience working in construction I found this opportunity intriguing because I am never afraid to work out and I know I can work hard. Sending a text to the number quickly led to an introductory conversation with a man whom I would come to learn a lot from in the next two months. Norm Orban, a self–employed businessman who owns a dry walling company, manages a six man crew that does local jobs around the area I live. Norm's company responded to a variety of projects, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 16. Senior Year Transition My senior year has been one of transition. I feel like I am wrapping up college, and my classes are like the "lose ends" that I have to take care of before I move on to the next phase of my life. Although, I somewhat approach my classes as a checklist, I also am very invested in getting good grades. I have the intent to go to Law school therefore I need to be intentional with my grades and the effort that I put into how I spend my time. Which is why I think I struggle in this class. There is an intentionality to being a good student, that makes it easy to go through the motions but in this class there is an emphasis on our intentions of our intention of being a student. To me there are some things that don't need to be meaningful and have a Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 17. Narrative Essay On Baby Sister It was the end of my senior year one month away from graduation. When I got home my parents said they had some good news; they looked at one another with glowing eyes. Were they having a special moment? No, they were hiding something from me and I could feel that something wasn't right. They were happy about something I don't think I've ever seen them that excited. My mother showed me an ultrasound imagine. I was going to have a baby sister .I asked how many months she was; she answered four. I was so upset that my mother would keep something like that to herself. I tried to putting a fake smile on my face but it was nearly impossible. Tears were running down my checks. I immediately went to my room. I knew that my mother felt awful it was my intention .I didn't know what to feel on one side I had so much anger but on the other side I always wanted a younger sibling . After 16 years of my life about to graduate and go off to college finding out you're going to have a baby sister is a shocking surprise. I felt as if I was on a roller coaster, my emotions were twisting and spinning all over the place. I had an older sibling but never was home. I always was the big baby of the house. I didn't think that would ever change until you find out there's another baby on board. Of course I always wanted baby sister or brother that I could play with and dress up. Have special moments together. My friends would tell me that siblings are annoying and always get what they want. That Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 18. College Admissions Essay In 210 days at 3:00 in the afternoon, I'll be sitting up on stage with all my classmates in the new gym wearing a brand–new dress covered by a red paper–thin gown comparable to a hospital gown with a cap bobby pinned into my head probably tearing up to the song "100 Years to Live" in the senior video. How did 13 years fell like an eternity but show up in the blink of an eye? I always knew that someday I would finally be a senior and graduate, but sitting here in my college composition class, senior year, it still doesn't feel like I'm about to clean up my locker and head out for the very last time.
