A LITTLE BIT OF CONTEXT…
The goal of the Concierges Extraordinaire initiative is to
provide our participants with a preferred point of contact, to
assist them in the discovery and navigation of the conference,
as well as the surrounding city of Montréal.
Concierges Extraordinaire act as specialists, pre-event
resources and on-site contact points for the participants. They
answer their questions, help them manage their schedule, and
facilitate networking with other conference attendees.
They have an extensive knowledge of not only the conference
itself, but the city that plays host to it. And whatever they don’t
know, they’ll be able to find… quickly.
The Concierges Extraordinaire programme has garnered a
great deal of positive response, from both participants (who
enjoy the high level of attentive, personalized care) and
volunteers (who gain valuable experience and expand their
skill set). It is now an integral part of what makes the C2
experience so different.

BEFORE THE EVENT
JOB DESCRIPTION
Reach out to participants and learn about their respective expectations and objectives
Suggest relevant activities and meetings in order to personalize and maximize the
participants experience
Assist with out-of-Montréal participants logistics (hotel reservations, letter of invitation for a
visa application, etc.)
Help them use C2 Montréal networking platform
Respond all inquiries/requests within 24 hours
Maintain an open line of communication in the weeks leading up to the event

DURING THE EVENT
Ensure the participants well-being and that their experience goes as planned
Be available to answer questions
Encourage networking
Support participant experience teams

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
o You are passionate about creativity in business
o You studied business administration or hospitality
o You have significant customer service experience (the
more the better)
o You have stellar interpersonal skills and strive to
provide the highest quality service possible (you
understand that customer service is not only about
giving directions to the restroom or the Old Port)
o You are at least bilingual (EN/FR), a 3rd (even a 4th)
language is a great plus

PRACTICAL DETAILS
Volunteer opportunity from March
16th, 2015 to May 28th, 2015
Compensation: 1 day pass to
C2 Montréal 2016
Time commitment is 10 hours per
week (part of which at C2 Montréal
offices) until May 25th, and full time
May 26-28
Each Concierge Extraordinaire is
responsible for providing their own
laptop
