inRes, short for “in Residence,” is a very early stage acceleration program for entrepreneurial teams working in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), in Portugal, offered by the Carnegie Mellon Portugal Program.
The program is targeted to entrepreneurial teams that:
want to start a company and commercialize a technology;
have proven technical feasibility of their product or service;
have had enough initial interaction with their target markets and industries, to have minimally consistent product or service and business concepts;
and are not yet established companies regularly selling their products or services.
The Carnegie Mellon Portugal Program, funded by the Portuguese Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT), is responsible for the coordination of inRes, in partnership with Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), Pittsburgh Regional Alliance (PRA), and UTEN Portugal.
Cognito’s London office is now accepting applications for their 2015 graduate scheme, beginning this summer!
The programme is designed to provide each graduate with a fundamental understanding of the public relations, marketing, social media and creative design industry with a specialised focus on the finance and technology space.

The goal of the Concierges Extraordinaire initiative is to
provide our participants with a preferred point of contact, to
assist them in the discovery and navigation of the conference,
as well as the surrounding city of Montréal.
Concierges Extraordinaire act as specialists, pre-event
resources and on-site contact points for the participants. They
answer their questions, help them manage their schedule, and
facilitate networking with other conference attendees.
They have an extensive knowledge of not only the conference
itself, but the city that plays host to it. And whatever they don’t
know, they’ll be able to find… quickly.
The Concierges Extraordinaire programme has garnered a
great deal of positive response, from both participants (who
enjoy the high level of attentive, personalized care) and
volunteers (who gain valuable experience and expand their
skill set). It is now an integral part of what makes the C2
experience so different.
