The intern will perform editorial, technical, and communication tasks such as defining content, drafting and editing articles, coordinating with countries and partners, and responding to user issues. The ideal candidate is highly organized, a native English speaker with basic French skills, and has 1-2 years of relevant marketing or communications experience preferably at an agency or client side.

2. PROJET DE STAGE/PLACEMENT PROJECT
Working as part of the McDonald’s International Team at TBWA Paris (the number 1
advertising agency in France) the intern will assist the Information Director with the content
of McDonald’s Europe’s two latest Extranets, which serves 42 countries across Europe.
The assistant to the Information Director is required to perform a wide variety of technical,
editorial and communicative tasks
1) Editorial Organization. Assisting to:
Defining the editorial line and the subjects to be put forward
Listening to countries’ needs when choosing content
Validating content internally and with the client
Drafting or correcting a number of different types of articles (News, description of
strategic documents)
Having internal or client texts validated
Putting content online
Putting together and sending weekly newsletters
Researching ideas in order to promote the site
Dealing with data reporting, dashboard analysis and statistics
2) International Coordination of countries, partner agencies and the client. Liaising with the
countries, the client and partner agencies. He/she is in contact with several European
Countries
Setting up a weekly meeting to be informed of all content created by countries
internally
Retrieving all the information and sources for all the content in conjunction with the
countries
Following the dates for the creative elements produced by the agency’s partners
Contacting agency partners to retrieve content
Working directly with the client to retrieve content
Validating and having validated the sources before putting them online
3) Client Service IT
Responding to user requests (forgotten password, connection problems)
Resolving problems via the back office
Keeping the site working well on a technical level
Informing the technical team in case of problems.
