Propane is the most used and spread refrigerant for plug-in applications.
Reduction of INDIRECT CO2 emissions -> Ecodesign & Energy labelling
In recent years, OEMs have been demanding new technologies to achieve
better, more measurable and repeatable energy consumption.
● For professional refrigerated cabinets (ENTR Lot 1), the energy
efficiency classes are already being applied. Products with energy efficiency class F
are banned from 2019.
● For commercial refrigerated display cabinets (ENER Lot 12), products
with an energy efficiency class below G will be banned from 2023.
