My Definition Of Learning Analysis
Different people have diverse definitions for learning just as they learn with different preferences. My working definition of learning involves using and
understanding facts, knowledge, and experiences to grow as a person. Contrary to observing and trying to remember the material, learning encompasses
approaching the material and making strong connections with it. Learning, a difficult and life–long process, is significantly affected by those you meet.
These people can show you how to do something or even what not to do. Whether or not they directly teach something, you can learn from all. Some
people learn by watching, others by listening, and even others by doing. Personally, I prefer a combination of all three.
Never actually remembering what I was taught, a large deal of my junior high was spent memorizing facts for the test and then quickly forgetting no

Autism is a disease that is being diagnosed today more than ever before. In fact, as of 2014 the statistics for diagnosis of autism are one in sixty–eight
children, with diagnosis being much more common in boys (Autism Speaks, 2016a). While there are many theories about what causes autism, there is
currently not any proven predictor of what will cause this disease to develop (Landrigan, 2010). Since prevention is not possible at this time, it is
extremely beneficial and important to research understanding and treatment of those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). There are
many avenues of treatment for ASD, but one method that has received significant attention is applied behavior analysis (ABA). The goal of this
research article is to explore the definition of applied behavior analysis, its development over time, and its application to real life. Some questions that
will be explored are when and where did ABA originate, how has it developed over time, and what researchers contributed new findings to this
intervention. Additionally, the methods that have been developed over time to implement ABA will be discussed, specifically with their application to
autism and individuals diagnosed with ASD. Finally, there will be a discussion of how skills that individuals with ASD gain from applied behavioral

The two items I chose from the Speed museum were the two vases by Fulvio Bianconi and Vicktor Emanuel as the modern pieces and the ancient
Egyptian canopic jars. Upon first sight, my first thought was that the purpose of these items is obliviously to hold and serve as containers for other
objects. Though they are different in size, it's clear they serve that same idea. Both items are also shaped in sort of a rounded and spherical way; the
edges are smoothed out and they all have a nice organic flow to them. There is nothing geometric or jagged about any of the pieces. While reading
deeper into the description of the Egyptian jars, I found out that they were used to store the deceased's organs during the process of mummification.

Though the vases themselves aren't geometric in shape, the design in the painting creates a bunch of abstract squares and rectangles. The design on
the other vase looks to be like a tree growing upward. The black strokes seem to represent different size branches as those found on a tree or a plant of
some sort. Another noticeable difference is that the modern vases are European, one being from Sweden and the other from Italy. The ancient jars, as
previously stated, are Egyptian. The sizes seem to differ between the modern and ancient containers as well. The modern vases appear taller and
leaner compared to the shorter and more rotund jars. This may be because the jars did not have to be very tall in order to hold the organs; they
were able to serve their purpose at a smaller height and a wider circumference. The tall and slender shapes of the vases were probably just a design
or style choice the designer made to achieve his vision. The materials used to create the pieces are worth noting as well. The vases were probably
glass blown and then hand painted while I couldn't really tell for sure what the jars were made of but it appeared to be some sort of stone or clay.

Using the marvelous complexity of science, we can confidently say a with degree of certainty that there are multiple realities. And even if we
cannot say this with certainty, then we can say it anyway, because there is no one to stop us, and that is what humans do. In one of these infinite
realities, I am an excellent student who has a phenomenal work ethic and is in every way, shape, and form perfect, according to our definition of

And with mistakes comes criticism. I welcome all forms of criticism. No matter the intentions of the critic, everything they say and everything they
point out is a lesson to better myself. If it is deconstructive on subjects that i cannot alter, such as physical traits or other forms akin to bullying, what
they say becomes a joke, and i love jokes, no matter at whose expense, mine included. Because of this mentality i have escaped many hostile scenarios
that my bluntness often gets me in. So in short, i do not think there is such a thing as 'constructive' or 'deconstructive' criticism. Only lessons to be
learned.
I also do not consider failure anything other than a learning experience as well. Everything is a lesson and a way to point us towards success, like it or
not. Failure is a notion that the successful planted inside our brains long ago to distract the weak and pick out the strong. We all hold the strength
inside us to persevere, but once we have used that strength to its full potential, we must always remain

Finesse of Emotions What makes us human? What makes us human is our curiosity and constant evolution. What makes us human is the ability to
create social categories and to form opinions. Abstract emotions including love, thought and creativity are what make us human. In 1984, George
Orwell uses his dystopia to show that if we were to abolish these abstract emotions we would cease to be human and become the simple primates we

Orwell is stating that the party convinces that your emotions are nothing but "mere feelings". The party is saying that the same emotions that separate
humans from savages are of "no account". Orwell also asserts the dehumanization of the party members during the re–education of Winston. O'Brien
explains to Winston, "We control matter because we control themind. "Reality is in the skull" (218). O'Brien convinces Winston that what he perceives
the world to be, is nothing but what the party wants him to perceive. He is telling him that all that he knows means nothing because "we [the party]
control[s] matter" This dehumanizes him by controlling his creativity and thought processes; they make him think whatever they want him to think. By
doing this Winston becomes nothing but an extant body; a lifeless corpse that has no means of its own aside from survival. The most powerful
weapons in the world are emotions. Emotions not only guide us, but seem to control us. Emotions are easily manipulated by the government and the
