Jimmy Kimmel does the Channel Trailer perfectly. This is shown as soon as a non-subscriber visits your channel page. A short 15-30 second video promoting your channel. Make one today to capture your audience
Utilize Playlists on your channel to organize your content. For Example Law Firms by practice area, Car dealerships by manufacturer, or type of videos instructional versus informative etc…
About us tab is a great place to talk about what your YouTube channel is about and put in some great content to be found via search. Also you can add links back to your site and various pages on your site as well. This section also features your social links
Tags – Find your competitors tags by viewing source on their video page and looking at meta keywords.
Right Click View Source on Competitor’s Video – Command/Ctrl F to search Keyword and then you will see all the Tags.
Title – Start off with your Main Keywords
Descriptions- Ensure your keywords are in the opening paragraph – Length less than 100 words for first paragraph then expand after that to full description
Tags - First keyword should be most important and then follow by order of importance, These are important for search.
Sharing – Socialize your video and ask your audience to engage with it.
Verify Your Account under Video Settings/ Channel Settings/ Features
After Verified go to a video and add an annotation, you will see a banner for enabling external annotation links, click it and verify your website through GWMT
Top Image is under Video Manager then Channel Setting then InVideo Programming – Add a Watermark, Feature a Video or Playlist, Add a Branding Intro
