colours are dull and muted, but at the same time they are light so they show that the
character is the protagonist. The use of the white will also help to show the innocence of the
protagonist character.
Makeup: Natural, simple makeup to make the character look more childlike and innocent.

By using black for everything in the costume it fits in with the horror/thriller genre as black
us usually associated with this type of filmas it connotes evil and mystery which helps to
portray the antagonist character better. The black in the costume will also blend in with the
night, which is the time of day when most of the film will be set, and therefore help to
create further mystery surrounding the character.
Makeup: The characters makeup will be done to make their eyes look sunken in and make
them look tired, this makes them appear less put together and less trustworthy.
