SUMMARY
I am currently a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for EMC VNX, the largest install base of the fortune
500 storage company. I have extensive experience as a networking field engineer. My goal is to find
gainful employment in the Information Technology sector and to further advance my skill set. I am deeply
interested in network security issues as well as networking architecture and implementation.
EXPERIENCE
My current role is a Subject Matter Expert for EMC VNX SAN/NAS. My department updates array
firmware, and my specific role requires that I actively learn and deliver all new software updates and
known issues to my team. I am one of the main escalation points for error troubleshooting, processes,
and sensitive customer handling.
I have been employed in the IT sector in one form or another for the past decade. In the past six
years I’ve worked as an independent contractor providing front line support for major corporations and
small businesses, such as JP Morgan/Chase, eBay, and have been with EMC for about a year and a half.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLSET
 Authoring and Training
My responsibilities include the creation and delivery of technical training materials. I have
authored several product trainings, and weekly technical notes to deliver to my team.
 Customer Escalations
As a technical lead I spend a portion of each day speaking to customers and performing technical
consults or incident investigations. My main priority is making sure the customer feels as though all of
their concerns have been resolved or addressed.

2. TECHNICAL SKILLSET
 Support Engineer
Technical support engineer, coach, and subject matter expert experience with several IT companies.
 UNIX
Extensive UNIX command line experience, including management of devices such as SAN or web
servers.
 Full Site Integration
I have installed complete facility networks from the ground up. Myself installing the networking
boards, data/telco 66 or 110 blocks. Extending the ISP connections from the DEMARC. Installing and
configuring back office servers, storage arrays, printers, scanners, etc. Extending data and phone lines to
POS or workstation locations as well as installing and configuring the POS or workstation. Configuring all
additional hardware, as well as security systems. Testing all hardware and software and bringing sites
online. I have performed such installs for sites such as JP Morgan Chase, Staples, and Famous
Footwear.
I have installed/troubleshot DS3, Fiber, Copper and CCTV networks. I can provide detailed experience in
these fields upon request.
