Working Title: Electric Feel – MGMT Music Video
Audience: I think that an appropriate target audience would be aged around 16 – 27 years old.
They would be male from a B or C1 social status and there doesn’t need to be a specific
psychographic, although it may not appeal to Socially Conscious Type B.
Rationale (approx. 100 words) I think that out of all of my ideas, the one I am doing was my
favourite. It is funny and the whole concept fits with the band’s cooky aesthetic. I also feel as if my
work is comedic and it can easily be filmed within several days. It also allows me to try the two
techniques I want to try. Chroma keying and beat editing, two skills that I feel I need to improve.
Project Concept (approx. 200 words) I aim for my project to be a silly, comedic video. I aim for it
to be like this so that I can try different editing styles and so I can film in different locations. The
dancing will be cut up so that each new scene will cut with the pace of the song and each new
location will have a different, bright coloured outfit.
Production Techniques (approx. 150 words) To make my project, I think that I will have to learn
how to;
 Chroma Key in Premier Pro
 Align shots properly
 Cut to the beat properly
To do this, I will research how to do these processes on the internet and look for a video tutorial.
Evaluation (approx. 50 words) I plan to evaluate my project by comparing it to previous works
and asking others to review it. By doing this, I feel it will give me an improved feedback.
