2. Wednesday
Make a start on the back cover make it as detailed and professional looking as possible. Look at other magazine back covers as a reference
point for mine. I should get it finished by the end of the day. If I do get it finished early in the day, begin another double page spread that
day and do as much as that as possible. If I do make a start on the other double-page spread then make it different from all of the other
page layout designs that I have done so far. If I need inspiration then look at other magazines even if the topic is totally different such as a
fashion magazine, as the layout could still work with my chosen topic, crime.
3. Thursday
If I haven’t already make sure to make a start on a new double-page spread either an Ed Gein one or David Koresh. I will need
to make sure I have enough information on whichever person I choose for the page to be on. If I made a start on it
Wednesday get it finished by the end of the day. If not then try to get as much done as possible, I should still aim to get it
finished even if I only made a start on it that day. If I don’t get it finished by the end of the day, then get it done in the
morning lesson, Monday.
4. Monday + Wednesday
Finish the double-page spread if not finished by first lesson. Once that is finished then move onto the next double page-
spread and at the same time work on a separate single-page spread to go next to the Ed Gein inner-magazine cover. I will also
need to have some very minimalistic pages in the magazine telling the reader who the author is, etc. Try to get as much done
as possible making sure that enough is completed so that when it comes to Thursday’s lessons I have time to move
everything from Adobe Photoshop to Adobe InDesign and make the layout into the magazine layout I planned for.
5. Thursday
Export all of my production work, making sure that it is all finished. Then move the work into Adobe InDesign, and put it all
into the correct order. Once done save it, export it, and upload it to my Wix website. Make sure that I save and publish my
website so that my tutor can see the updated work on my website.
