Question 7

 Looking back at your preliminary
task, what do you feel you have
learnt in the progression from it to
          the full product?
Programs
• I have learnt a lot from the progression between
my pre lim task and my finial product. When I
started my pre lim task I had no prior knowledge
of programs in witch I would use to make my
magazine. For my pre lim task I only used word
to make my magazine, but for my final product I
used a range of different programs from word to
publisher and photo shop and picnic.com.
Fonts
• In my prelim task I only used fronts I could
find on word , but for my final product I
used fonts from picnic where they had a
lot of really cool fonts that went with the
theme of my magazine very well. This
really helped as I didn’t find many of the
  fonts on word very useful.
Researching
• Before I made my pre lim task I didn’t
consider doing any research but with my
final product I researched and analysed
many magazines from my genera and age
range in order to help me understand what
my magazine needed to include and how it
  needed to look .
Photographs
• In my prelim task I didn’t think about how to take
my own photos and what to include in the
pictures to achieve the look I was going for. I had
also never discovered programs such as photo
shop and I didn’t no how to use them during the
time between my pre lim tast and my final
product I learnt how to use it and it really helped
me to achieve the look in my pictures that you
cant achieve by just taking a picture.
Extras
• I also added more pictures to my magazine’s
contents page and more stories on the font
cover to make it more appealing. I also added
a competition to attract readers and added
buttons onto my front over this all makes the
magazine more attractive and appealing and
readers are more likely to pick it up and by it.
