Procedure for PDA Preparation:
Composition: Potato: 200 gm, Dextrose: 20 gm, Agar: 20 gm,
Water: 1 ltr
Half boil 200 g sliced potatoes in 500 ml distilled water for
10-15 min.
Filter through cheese cloth, and the decoction is kept in a
beaker
Mix agar and dextrose and boil to dissolve in rest 500 ml
water with continuous stirring
 Mix solution with continuous stirring and made them
homogenous.
Volume up to 1 ltr is adjusted with distilled water
Autoclave 15 min at 121°C and 15 p.s.i.
Dispense 20-25 ml portions into sterile 15 × 100 mm petri
dishes.
