SUMMARY
I have 7years working experience in commissioning and operation of residual fluid catalytic
cracking (RFCC) plant in a petroleum refinery in Ghana and currently working with ADNOC
subsidiary Abu Dhabi Gas Industry (GASCO) in UAE as a panel operator (DCS). I was part
of the key leading team members in pre-commissioning and commissioning of habshan5
plant from 2012 to 2013.My career objective is to become a successful charted engineer and

Job purpose & Scope:
Operates, monitors and controls facilities like Gas/Liquid dehydration and De-mercury unit,
NGL recovery unit, Condensate Stabilization unit, Gas compression unit, Sour water
treatment unit, Fuel gas unit, Rich and lean acid gas removal unit, NGL storage and export
unit, Flare system, Pipeline launcher in the respective Plant areas, providing work
instructions, as necessary to operators, take corrective actions during emergency situations
and Plant abnormalities in accordance with standard operating procedure and standing order.
Specific duties:
 Provide work instruction and guidance to assigned operators and ensure their work is
conducted inline with standard operating procedures, established program and
supervisory instructions complying with health safety policy.
 Operate the plant to meet the expectation of the customer in the areas of sales gas,
liquid sulphur and lean gas.
 Controls and monitors plant process instruments such as Pressures, temperatures,
levels, flows etc., and ensures periodic logging of parameters, look out for any
abnormalities for smooth and efficient running of Plant and the equipment’s.
 Perform regular plant maintenance and operations changes with the consent of senior

 Ensure plant is operated and maintained in compliance with regulatory requirements.
 Carry out plant start-up and shutdown base on standard operating procedure.
 Co-ordinate with other existing plant for feed and product distribution.
 Changing the operating mode to meet NGL product specification demand by
downstream plants.
 Determine Specification of Product in Plant by the help of Gas/Liquids analyser's and
lab results.
 Review, Validate, Sign off existing standard operating procedures.
 Suggests modifications for improvement of overall Plant efficiency
 Isolate systems, Piping and LOTO by co-ordinating with field operators and
maintenance personal.
 Explain/Troubleshoot Plant Process, Compressors, Pumps, Controllers, and BMS
Panels etc.
 Managing the NGL sphere and its export.
 Adjust process parameters base on lab analysis, feed and product analysis if required.
 Ensure proper shift handover as per the standing procedure
 Develop UAE nationals by sharing knowledge and expertise for their integration and
give training to new employees, students or groups on excursion.
 Organize and write field and DCS daily activities for shift controller's report.
 Ensure that work carried out by maintenance personnel is in accordance with the
company safety regulations and standard procedures by coordinating with the field
operator and parties involve.
SIGNIFICANT ACHIEVEMENT IN THIS POSITION:
 I made changes on the plant design process logic to reduce flaring and total plant
shutdown during plant upset and emergencies (AGR and NGL contingency plan).
 Optimized production by improving on design process parameters.(parameters for
NGL recovery and rejection).
 Develop a procedure for propanisation of 3stage propane compressor base on
practical experience.
 Lead a team who help to change systemlogic, start-up and shutdown procedure of
3stage propane compressor base on practical experience.
 Help to reduce the daily alarm received per console through alarm management
to suit the process and operation in other to ensure process flexibility and safety.
 Updated NGL standard operating procedure base on practical experience.
 Part of team who did DCS control logic confirmative for Gas and Liquid dryer
sequence.
 Recovered more than 99% Propane (C3) and 89% Ethane (C2) from natural gas
