1. COMMUNICATION STYLE:
Communication style refers to the choices we
tend to make when communicating to others. It
involves two basic dimensions: the assertiveness
level of our communication and the emotiveness level
of our communication. We also use styles
depending on with whom we are communicating.
2. THE COMMUNICATION STYLES MATRIX :
There are many different
models that describe the ways in which we
communicate . But one very useful model is based on
the work of ”Dr.Eileen Russo”. In her matrix, there are two
different dimensions in communication styles : the
level of expressiveness and the level of assertiveness.
The assertive communication style tells what to do
while the less assertive style ask others what
should be done.
The expressive style show emotions and less
expressive hides emotion
4. DIRECT COMMUNICATION STYLE:
People with direct communication style are high
assertive and less expressive. They tend to tell others
what to do instead of asking others what they think
should be done . These type of people doesn’t show
emotions in their communication.
They may cold to other, who might take their style of
communication personally.
These type of people won’t always stop to listen to
others, even if others have something valuable to
contribute. They may seems impatient and over
bearing at times.
They are attempting to focus on results rather than
emotions. They always focus on their work lefting
emotions behind.
5. SPIRITED COMMUNICATION STYLE :
People with the spirited communication style love to
flesh out ideas, brainstorm, and talk about the big
picture. There communication may be full of grand
ideas and hyperboles that tend to be very persuasive
to others at first.
Keeping to agenda is something a challenge for those
people with the spirited communication style. Their
written and verbal communication may tend towards
the dramatic. They can be entertaining ,getting them
clearly on specific topics. They can provide guideline
to others by their thoughts ,ideas and talk.
6. SYSTEMATIC COMMUNICATION STYLE:
People with a systematic communication style like to focus on facts
and details rather than opinions and possibilities . They will appreciate
facts and analysis rather than the “big picture” ideas that have not yet
been proved useful.
These people could be slower to respond your communication.
Charts, graphs, and trends are all useful tools for communicating with
systematic.
Those with systematic communication style are uncomfortable with
expressing their feelings and do not like conflict. They tend to
shutdown communication rather dealing with emotional situdations.
These type of people feel happy to get more and more information.

7. CONSIDERATE COMMUNICATION STYLE
People with considerate communication style are very
concerned about feelings of others. They want to
please other people and to be included in their peer
group. They like to work with other, help others, and
connect to other personal level.
People with a considerate communication style will be
very interested in listening and in finding out how you
and others are doing .They will want everyone to have
a chance to speak , but might refrain from expressing
their own opinions. They will encourage group
collaboration and communication , though they are not
always inclined to speak their own minds.
