Duties & Responsibilities as Document Controller
Coordinate all activities related to Document control procedure, including
technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.
Input documents to the registers accurately and up to date.
Monitoring the distribution of copies of approved documents to the staff,
sub-contractors and suppliers and receiving reply.
Distributing and filing hard and soft copies of shop drawings, material
submittals, RFI, IRF, method statements, letters, team mails, EWN, notice
of delay etc and maintaining their register.
Validating the information in the documents and ensure that they are
approved by the appropriate superiors.
Maintaining electronic register of documents using document control
software applications.
Maintain the documents and drawings in the site office under safe custody
without any damage.
Manages all outgoing and incoming documents / drawing review process
both internal and external.
Updating distributing and Filing of all QC related documents like NCR’s,
Request for Inspections ,SDR’s
Handling of Documents related to Materials coming to project
Preparing monthly fabrication reports for materials and submitting to
main contractors
