I currently have 5 years experience applying my Administrative Assisting skills in, front office assisting
as well as property management. As an Administrative Assistant I have worked for a family owned and
operated medical practice, Orthopedic surgeons office and property management. I am highly motivated
with strong organization and problem solving skills.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
 Perform front office functions, maintain patient files, review doctors’ reports and take
appropriate actions i.e.; schedule follow up appointment or make referrals to outside office.
 Excellent ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
 Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients,
members, care providers and customers
 Applying appropriate judgment while maintaining confidentiality and complying with Health
Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
 Experience with insurance verifications, and intermediate billing knowledge.
 Ability to set effective priorities to achieve goals and meet deadlines with attention to detail, while
still following company protocol.

In Home Support Aid
 Liaison between doctor and insurance companies to make sure clients’ needs are met medically.
 Follow doctors’ orders to properly clean and dress wounds, as well as safely separate and dispense
medication.

 Interview potential residents and process applications to determine eligibility and explain rental
