• Resting on the basement membrane.
• One end is blind.
• It unites to form a lymphatic duct.
• Absent in brain, eye ball, Spinal cord , Internal Ear,
Bone marrow etc.
• Small Intestine – Villi (Lactene)
8. LYMPHATIC DUCT / VASSEL
• Like veins (Have 3 layers )
• Tunica externa, Tunica Media , Tunica Interna.
• Has watch pockets OR Semilunar Valves( Bicuspid)
• Valves are more in number than veins.
