Lymph= Blood –[ RBC+ Platelets +plasma Protein]
-Colouress liquid,Connective Tissue
-It has carbon dioxide and metabolic waste.
-Unidirectional flow ; Body to Heart

4. LYMPHATIC SYSTEM CONSIST OF;
• 1- Lymphatic Capillaries
• 2-Lymphatic Duct
• 3-Lymph Node

5. LYMPHATIC ORGANS
1- Spleen
2-Thymus Gland
3-Lymph Node

6. LYMPHATIC CAPILLARIES
• Small, thin walled , Lined by endothelium.
• Resting on the basement membrane.
• One end is blind.
• It unites to form a lymphatic duct.
• Absent in brain, eye ball, Spinal cord , Internal Ear,
Bone marrow etc.
• Small Intestine – Villi (Lactene)

• Like veins (Have 3 layers )
• Tunica externa, Tunica Media , Tunica Interna.
• Has watch pockets OR Semilunar Valves( Bicuspid)
• Valves are more in number than veins.

Left Lymphatic duct
• Longest Lymphatic duct
• Opens into Left subclavian
Vein
• Collects Lymph From 3/4th
