2. WHAT IS A TEACHING PORTFOLIO?
• Portfolio is an approach in the implementation of
performance assessment.
• The portfolio is a collection of files or material that can
provide information for an objective assessment of
performance.
• It contains student work, documents or images, which
shows what a person can do in a work environment and
atmosphere of the natural, real.

/ the use of portfolios in schools, among others, as
follows:

4. HOW PORTFOLIO ASSESSMENT
TECHNIQUES?
Portfolio assessment techniques in the classroom requires the
following steps:
1. Explain to students the purpose of use portfolios,
2. Decide with student portfolio examples of what will be created.
3. Collect and store each student works in one folder or folders.
4. Give the date of manufacture on each student's development of
information materials so it can be seen the difference in quality
from time to time.
5. Determine the assessment criteria examples of student portfolios
with students and their weighting in order to achieve an
agreement.
