8. Mini Reflection:
How can Google Slides help you share new digital resources and tools for
learning?
There are a lot of google features that one can add to slides such as maps, videos and
forms to enhance learning. There is also google draw to help create diagrams/graphic
organizers, which can help visual learners. It is a very advanced system and it allows
you to share documents on multiple screens. Everyone can work on the same document
at once allowing all ideas to be heard/ seen. It is also good since teachers are always
sharing materials. If three teachers wanted to do the same slides in their classroom,
then they can all work on it at once and all have access to it.
9. Mini Reflection Continued:
By using hyperlinks, teachers can collect materials for their class and have students
collect resources on individual slides. This is beneficial because it can help students stay
organized. There is also a commenting feature which enables students to make
comments on the slides. They can write questions or ideas and the teacher can go in
and see where the student is either struggling or what sparked their interest. Students
can also comment on other people’s work to provide and receive feedback. Google
slides is compatible with google classroom so you can easily display work on slides in
an efficient way. Teachers can add their work from other applications onto the slides
they are working on in a visually appealing way.
