Receptionist at Atlantic Business Centres Ltd. Chelmsford, from January 2006 to date.
• Duties include welcoming visitors and clients.
• Call handling via a computerised switchboard.
• Clerical and administrative duties.
• Booking meetings and arranging on-site parking.
• Joint responsibility for in-house facilities and health and safety.
• Arranging appointments, and taking and forwarding details of enquiries to our many
clients.
• Various additional duties connected with the efficient running of a busy business
centre.
• In authority in the absence of the Centre Manager, with responsibility for additional
staff.
The building my company works in has been purchased by a developer who plans to
convert the premises into apartments, and my Managing Director has decided not to move
the company to a new location.
I was hired when this new office opened in 2006, and will be employed here until the
business centre closes at the end of September 2015.
