Wildlife Grain Sorghum was specifically devel-
oped as a fall and winter food source for up-
land birds (quail, turkey, pheasant and prairie
chicken) and migratory birds (ducks, geese and
doves). It has very low water requirements, good
seedling vigor, and grows upright with medium
to large heads. It has very good standability. Not
intended for commercial grain production due
to tannin content.
