2. Editing- Effects & Colours
In this video the main colours like others that I have
previously reviewed are dark colours like black and navy
blue. In this shot, there is a slight arch shape on the top
which is something I would like to incorporate in my music
video.
This effect is quite good because it is like a dark spot light
instead of a bright one.
3. Editing- Transitions
Yet again; in this music video the most common transition used is overlapping.
The fact that overlapping is used in most slow songs is because it is reflecting
the different emotions of the artist.
4. Camera- Shots & Angles
This is a high angled, wide medium shot which is effective because it
gives connotations of how vulnerable the artist is feeling at the moment.
This is a good shot to have in my music video as it helps to amplify the
theme of space because its showing how vulnerable the artist feels
inside.
5. Mise en Scene- Location
In this music video the locations are chosen specially to get the
seriousness of the song and lyrics across to the audience.
