2. MISE-EN-SCENE: Places I filmed
The kitchen The sidewalk The bus stop
The beach The green room
3. Mise-en-scene and location part 2:
• Because I worked with a moving image this year mise-en-scene was
important to work with such as getting the right location and finding
areas that will convey my videos through the suggested areas. I think
most of my videos locations represent that loneliness.
• I tried to have my locations make sense when I filmed there so that
my music video could tell a storyline and the audience are able to
understand what is happening.
4. Mise-en-scne: Costume For my costume, my actress wire black skinny
jeans, a black vest stop and a red checkered shirt.
I kept it the same throughout the music video to
show the continuity of my product and for it to
represent the narrative because the video is all
set in one day.
However, she has a second costume such as the
green parka coat over her original costume which
we see she wears on the beach. This costume
gets wet at one point from filming and I choice to
film with the coat filthy in to add continuity.
Here is a picture of my actress’ coat before and
after showing the change in characters costume
but still maintain the continuity which I wanted to
show.
5. Mise-en-scene: costume part 2
Although this actress does not have that
much of a significant role in my film. I wanted
to maintain the continuity and focus more on
the messages I was trying to say rather than
having elaborate costume changes because
that might confuse the audiences.
