This document provides information about a 4th grade unit on relationships and health taught by Ana del Campo. The unit aims to (1) have students obtain and compare information from different sources to form hypotheses and conduct experiments on human body systems and functions; and (2) teach students about organ functions, systems, and healthy lifestyle habits that support the body's functioning and development. The unit covers relationships and the five senses; sense organs; the nervous and locomotory systems; relationships and health; emotions; scientific inquiry; and using different information sources. Students will learn related vocabulary, structures, and routines through individual and group work using various classroom resources and language skills.
