2. This is the front cover for my school based
magazine.
I have tried to keep the font type similar to
signs around school, to relate it. Our school
trend colour is blue, therefore I have done a
few titles in blue. The main title, the first thing
people see, I have done, blended blue and
white. Under this there is a strip of blue, with
white text.
I tried to get the closest I could to the blue
from the school logo.
I have chosen a sixth form student who is
smartly dressed, and at a computer, as they
are working. She has a smile on her face
which insinuates that she is happy in the
school, and have a good work ethic.
3. This is my contents page for my school based
magazine.
I have stuck to the same font as on the front
page.
For each title or every other page I have
paired with a picture relating to what is inside.
This gives the reader an insight to what they
will be reading about.
Just below the centre the page I have a list of
‘regular features’. This organises my contents
page a lot more, and make it easier to find
articles, compared to a long list of titles.
Each picture represents what the article will be
about. For example, ‘lending a help in hand’,
the article from the title is going to be about
how people in school will be helping others
that are struggling, out of their own accord.
The picture that goes with it, was taken in the
library, a young student is working on the
computer and is being accompanied by an
adult.
The blue theme continues onto this page,
down the side, and has the logo in the bottom
corner.
I have also spaced things out well so it is not
cramped, and looks busy.
