HOW IT WORKS ?
With word-of-mouth marketing,
your customers and other fans
are essentially doing the
marketing for you, at little to no
cost to your business!
They are promoting straight to
their network, usually in person
or on social media, which makes
word of mouth not only cost-
effective, but highly valuable.
WHAT IS IT ?
Word-of-mouth marketing
(WOM marketing) includes any
ways that people talk about your
brand, products, or services in
dialogue with others.
Usually, word of mouth is
prompted by a positive, above-
and-beyond experience someone
has had with your brand.
Importance:
1. Consumers trust the opinions of their close
ones the most.
2. It adds a personal aspect to the shopping
experience.
3. It’s the biggest purchasing influencer.
4. It’s free.
5. It’s responsible for about ¼ of all retail
purchases.

brand, increase sales,
and drive website
traffic.
Brand Communities:
A brand community is a
place where people who
have an emotional
connection to your brand
can connect with each other
and with your brand.
Blog
Marketing:
Blog marketing is any
process that
publicises or
advertises a website,
business, brand or
service via the
medium of blogs.
Viral Marketing:
The internet and the advent
of social media have greatly
increased the number of
viral messages in the form
of memes, shares, and
forwards. It's being shared
by the public at large rather
than just its target audience.
