by the formation
of finger-like
temporary process,
the pseudopodia.
These are formed
as a result of
flowing forward of cytoplasm.

by Hymen(1917)And later
supported by Pantin(1923-26) and Mast,
Widely acceptable view, now a days.

5. Attachment of Amoeba
to the substratum.
At the point of formation
of pseudopodium,
the plasmagel converts into
plasma sol begins to flow.
The constant flow of plasma sol
result in the growth of
pseudopodium.

6. When plasma sol strikes the hyaline cap,
it converts into plasmagel,
which is called gelation.
At the opposite end, the plasma gel converts
into plasma sol converts into
plasma sol to continue the supply of
plasma sol. It called as solation.
