Worked In the reconstruction project of electrical sector in Lebanon. I can
outline the major activities done in this period as follows:
Rehabilitation of JAMHOUR and BSALIM 245 / 66 / 15 kV
substations project 1993. The scope of work was as follow:
i. HV Insulation Test
ii.Testing and Commissioning of: Protection, Metering,
and Control Panels.
Technical reporting and Damage assessment done for Lebanese
power Network by CDR (Conseil de Reconstruction).
Design Engineer in MATELEC‐design department. My scope of
work was the design of the New and old rewired low voltage
control circuits of substation equipments.
Preparation for a training program for EDL as part of EDL human
resources rehabilitation. The program consisted of:
i. Introduction to power network and protection concepts
ii.Power network Analysis: Load flow, Fault Level,
Transient Stability, Substation Design
Working in the “OPERATION TRIPLE TARIFF” with EDF/EDL, this
consists of the rehabilitation of the industrial MV substation
(Clientelles de Moyenne Tension), plus installation of digital triple
tariff meters. This Project was carried out By Melec SAL, under
EDF supervision.
