You may have heard that it is rude to point, but
that’s exactly what pronouns do.

Indefinite pronouns
Indefinite pronouns refer to a person or thing
whose exact identity is unknown.
• Some indefinite pronouns are singular.
• Some are plural.
• Some may be either singular or plural,
depending on how they are used.
The following indefinite pronouns are singular:
