2. Thriller crime/action
• Our target audience is teenagers, 16 to 24 years old because
in our film we are going to have a lot of action in it which will
excite our audience.
3. Location
• In an alleyway that has a garage next to it or some kind of
room that stores a lot of items, There should be another room
next to it. This is because I would want different room that are
next to each other and that looks like a hideout.
4. My film opening idea
• My film idea is that there is an undercover agent who is spying on two men
that are in a gang. This gang just robbed a bank and they got away to their
secret hideout. One of the men recruits the agent to join his gang because
the spy use to be close friends with one of the men long time ago but they
had not seen each other since then. (They don’t know that he is a spy.) The
two thugs let the agent in their hideout and the agent is being cautious as
he is talking to the thugs about how they got this money. One of the thug
members started to suspect on the agent as he had been acting weird
because the agent kept on going on his phone. Then the agent had told the
guys to follow him outside which one of them did but the other guy didn’t
as he was still suspecting on him. As the thug was walking the agent had
knocked him out with a pistol from behind. When he had entered back in
the room, the other man had a gun and shot him on the chest as he was
waiting for him to enter the room. The thug had took the money and had
escaped but the agent was slowly moving on the floor because he wore a
body armour.
5. Idea 2 by Ronaldas Padaigas
• A new member is being introduced to a gang but the boss finds out that the new
member is from FBI and the boss gets angry and want to kill him before he can
find out what is he up to which starts with a fight until boss knocks the spy out and
tells him to run for his life before he shots him the scene ends up with a gun shot
and a slow motion bullet hitting the screen.
6. Idea 3 by Rubio Luis
• My ideal idea for this project would be where a young adult gets introduced to a
mafia group "Toni el gordo "throughout the play the person who gets introduced tries
to get away by emphasising the mafia group that he is an undercover 24 year old FBI
agent from Bangladesh. This is set around 6 to 7 pm where the setting is really dark,
after finding out about the agent one of the mafia character chases the agent till it
gets more physical where a weapon appears and a fight takes place.
• Before the end of the opening a bullet will appear but it will start to approach the
camera and gets closer and closer till it gets to an extreme close up shot.
• After that the Agent will be on the floor facing the camera and the film will end there
to create suspense.
7. Idea 4 by Ernest Aidoo
• Character A and Character B are two professionals thieves that
needs the help of one more person that have advance skills in
technology (character C) to make the next move. They tried to
steal in the house of a banker but something goes wrong and
the house locks with them inside and they start blending to
each other and they can't get out of the house.
8. Final Synopsis
• The final film opening scenario that our group decided on was crime
sub-genre. The opening will start fade in from black screen into
establishing shot of an alleyway and then a tracking shot from
behind of 2 characters walking forward. Then its a shot reverse shot
of 2 characters having dialogue then we continue with a tracking
shot from the front of characters continue walking. Long shot of the
location as the characters arrive but the one of the characters is FBI
agent that is going to be introduced into a gang but the location is
empty which creates suspicion but then a gang leader walks out of
the darkness and then he asks few questions about a new member
but then he notices something isn't right and rips his shirt open and
notices a microphone. Boss gets angry and knocks out one of the
members because he tried to bring a spy into his gang. then close up
of FBI agents face to see his reaction and as the leader approaches
FBI agent he prepares for a fight and then there is hand to hand
combat for around 20-30 seconds. After FBI agent knocked on the
floor the screen will fade in and out to create effect of FBI agent
waking up and he looks up to a gun facing his forehead and the boss
tells him to run he slowly gets up and starts running as FBI agent in
the background you can hear boss counting and a gun shot.
