Responsibility is a duty or task that is morally and legally required. Children learn that being responsible makes them feel good and gain respect from others. A responsible person performs duties without being told, can be depended on to follow through, and does not blame others. Responsible behavior has five elements - honesty, compassion, fairness, accountability, and courage. The document provides examples of responsible behaviors like doing chores, not complaining about work, keeping things organized, completing school tasks, and taking care of possessions.

It is something that you should do because it
is morally right and legally required.

3. Children learn that being responsible make them feel good about
themselves and make others respect and appreciate them. They
understand the attributes of a responsible person. Theses are:
• Performs his duties without being told.
• Can be depended on to do what he says he will do.
• Never blames others for the mistakes he commit.
• Takes care of his possessions.

4. Responsible behavior is made up of five (5) elements.
 Honesty
 Compassion
 Fairness
 Accountability
 Courage

5. How responsible are you? How do you think will you
show that you are responsible?
 Do chores at home.
 Not complain when asked to work.
 Keep things in order.
 Do assigned school tasks.
 Return borrowed things.
 Do the best work.
 Work without being told.
 Finish on work on time.
 Take care of my possessions.

6. Responsibility finds a way.
