The different technologies I have used in order to embed
my videos.
2. Problems
§ My first problem occurred by trying out to upload a video directly on my blog.This
obviously did not work as a video has to be embedded first.
§ I tried google drive and was very pleased with the result of my post, however my
teacher found out afterwards that others could not access my videos because of
the google drive settings.
§ I was not able to change the google drive settings and tried to find some other
websites to embed my videos.
3. Solution
§ I found different websites. One of them is called Vimeo.Vimeo has the advantage
that it is for free, however uploading the videos takes ages and there is a specific
limit of GB, therefore I was not able to upload all of my videos on Vimeo.
§ I have chosen to try Vimeo because the page appeared to me and it looked very
professional.
4. Solution
§ My second solution was a website called Vzaar.This website appeared very
professional and the videos uploaded very quickly.The problem is that I just
started a 30 day free Trial. I hope that after 30 days my videos will still be visible
on my blog.
§ If after the 30 day trial my videos won’t be visible anymore, I will have to find
another way of embedding them.
