Aim: To increase shop sales

Objective: To get more clothes being brought into the shop so there are more clothes to then be sold
Success Criteria: The shop is full of clothes
There is plenty of people buying from Isobellas Closet
Evaluation:
Strengths: According to my mum, the sales in Isobellas Closet this year have gone up. This is
exactly what we wanted to get out of this project, and Isobellas Closet are greatly thankful.
Weaknesses: We are not sure if they have gone up because of our advertising, however they have
still gone up.
Actions for the future: To make sure the sales are going up because of us, that we are the reason
behind Isobellas Closet becoming more popular
Aim: To be technically proficient in terms of videoing and editing

Objectives: To shoot the same scene from a number of different angles
To use a number of tutorials to teach me how to edit using iMovie properly
Success Criteria: Editing process is easier because there is a choice of shots to choose from
I will know what tools to use where to make the best video I can

Evaluation:
Strengths: The editing process was easier because I had plenty of shots to choose from. From the feedback I
was given by my peers, the video was edited well as I received mostly 1's and 2's out of 5, with 1 being the
best.
Weaknesses: I did not add in any still images, this is because the quality in which they were taken were not
high enough and I was not aware of this as I was taking them.
Actions for the future: I could have tried to go back to retake them but the images may not match as I would
not be able to guarantee the clothes will still be there. I would also have to reschedule with Jess all over again
which would cause many complications.

Aim: To make a video that is accessible for easy viewing

Objectives: To upload the video to youtube
To have the video posted on the Isobellas Closet facebook page
To have the video posted to the Isobellas Closet tumblr page
Success Criteria: Anyone can access the video over the internet

Evaluation:
Strengths: Our video turned out to be a lot longer than 30 seconds, meaning that we got to fit in
more clothes and also show them from more angles. I think this is a strength because viewers then
get more of an idea of what Isobellas Closet has to offer.
Weaknesses: The video on youtube does not have that many views, meaning that not many people
have seen the video.
Actions for the future: To try and promote the video using different means of communication such
as word of mouth or putting the url on posters and displaying posters around Discovery Bay. We could
also try and widen our area of promotion by letting people in other parts of Hong Kong know about
Isobellas Closet.
Aim: To promote Isobellas Closet and make awareness of their aims

Objectives; To create a successful tumblr page
To publish their aims clearly on our tumblr page
To publish their aims clearly on their facebook page
Success Criteria: To have more than 100 followers on our tumblr page
For people to be aware of what Isobellas Closet is all about

Strengths: I think the biggest strength in having our tumblr site ( isobellas-closet.tumblr.com ) is that we
managed to reach our goal of 100+ followers. That means that now we have 100+ people that can look at all
our updates posted on the blog. This is also a weekly updated site that shows what is currently on offer in
the shop. It also gives details of price and size. The webiste is also very easily accessible to everyone as
you do not need to be a member of Tumblr to view it.
Weaknesses: The photos taken of the clothes against the photos of fashion inspiration do not look as
professional as we would have liked them too. However these are all that Isobellas Closet could provide.
Actions for the future: To spend more time updating the website as this would probably gain us even more
followers and then it would also make everyone who follows it more updated.
Evaluation of Research
and Planning
I think that I researched the project well as I have such a strong link with our client, my mum. This
was super helpful as if there was ever anything I was deciding, or that was not sure she would like
then I would ask her before I started it.

The strong link with our client also helped me in researching my project as she gave me lots of
guidelines to follow and told me exactly what she wanted us and her to gain from this project.

I definitely found that looking at other small business' and some well known shops' video's helped me
in making our final video. I gained a lot of inspiration from these and they helped to guide me in
choosing where I wanted to end up at the end of the project.
Evaluation of Technical
Skills
I have developed many new skills in a range of softwares. In using tumblr I have learnt how to:
- Customise a theme
- Add and reblog photos
- Add videos
- How to insert html links into my blog

In using iMovie I have learnt how to:
-

Overall I think I prefered using tumblr so in future I would like to use this website again.
Evaluation of
Communication
As my mum was the client, I communicated with her every day. This made it very easy to stay on task
and make sure everything was to Isobellas Closet's liking.

I found that it was easier to communicate face to face rather than on the phone or even the
occasional email. This was because we could almost debate and come to a decision quickly rather
than waiting for an email or text to be read.
Evaluation on Testing
I feel that my testing resulted in useful information about my product. This is because everybody that I
sent my survey out to replied with helpful feedback. I used google drive to make a survey as from
previous experiences this software has the best way of easily seeing all the results.

From this I could see that the video reached its aims as the audience was able to understand and
recall what the message of the video was. They also commented on how well the video was edited.

As a change I also emailed this survey to my mum's partner in Isobellas Closet, Morag. She filled this
in as I hadn't communicated with her as much throughout the project so I felt I needed to include her
more. She came back with comments saying the video was just what they wanted so I was very
pleased by that
Evaluation on Originality
and Creativity
For this aspect I think I needed to have taken more screenshots documenting my work,
as I do not have many of the project.

However I feel that I answered the WHY? question well on each slide of my powerpoint. I
think I should have made more on my tumblr page powerpoint as there were many steps
I went through in achieving the final project that I did not document.
