1. Job Title: Engineering Project Manager
Job Summary
Reporting to the Engineering Director, the Engineering Project Manager will coordinate the
assigned investment projects, especially in the planning, installation and commissioning
phases. Also, he will contribute for general maintenance and repairs for the factory utilities
and building. He / she is responsible with assessment of technical performance of the plant
equipment and for identifying opportunities for improvements.
Major Task Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
- Introduction to the investments project management for Romania entity;
- BAPs preparation and submission for approval, follow ups, final acceptance test;
- CAPEX preparations, tracking and reporting for optimal use of financial resources
involved in Capital Investments;
- Coordinate the assigned investment projects, elaborating action plans, supervising
the activities related to the installations implementations
- Provide regular updates and reports about projects status with regards to work
progress, budgets, timelines and any major issues or concerns;
- Analyze the technical performance of the plant equipment and identify opportunities
for improvements;
- Ensure support together with PM, CM Managers to the repairs and major overhauls
projects, reducing production capacity impact.
- Participate to the service, general maintenance and repairs for the factory utilities
and building, monitoring Key Performance Indicators, looking to improve energetic
efficiency
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on project status with regard to
work progress, budgets, timelines and any major issues or concerns.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- University degree in Engineering (Engineering or Process Automation) or similar
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Industrial & Investments environment;
- Project management experience within manufacturing environment (ideal from food,
soft drinks, tobacco and other similar industry);
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of project management and technical development within
manufacturing environment; Experience in people management;
- Technical knowledge related to mechanical, automation, electrical and buildings
maintenance and abilities to implement appropriate and efficient technical solutions;
- Specific knowledge related to financial and project management to generate
Engineering and Capex reports;
- Knowledge of ERP system and functions, especially related to the Investment projects
and diagrams’ control and efficiency analysis knowledge;
- Maintenance and inventory management knowledge;
- Advanced PC skills (MS Office, MS Project, and MS Visio);
- Fluency in English, written and spoken.
