1. Dr. Pendl & Dr. Piswanger Romania looks for an ENGINEERING MANAGER , located near Arad (~ 30
km) for its client - a multinational manufacturing company of electric and electronic components for
automotive and household industries.
Main role:
The main purpose of the ENGINEERING MANAGER, reporting to Plant Manager, is to coordinate 6 people
in the Engineering Department, providing leadership and technical expertise in the direction of the plant
engineering function to optimize lines and plant performances.
Essential functions and duties:
 Responsible for planning of departments’ activities, planning and monitoring the department budget
under the supervision of Plant Manager and supervision of continous improvements
 Developes and coordinates the activities required for the planning of the manufacturing process,
managing the changes, planning of the equipments and calculation of the production costs;
 Supervise the creation and maintaining of the process related documents for existing and new projects,
ensuring that all operations have the required documents ex: Standard Operating Procedures,
PreventiveMaintenance schedules, TPM, Work Instructions, Rework Instructions, Balancing charts,
Flow Charts, Machine parameters etc
 Plan and coordinates the activities related to the ordering of new equipments for running or new
projects in Assembly Production Area, to obtain the best efficiency and in the Molding Injection
Production Area as well as activities required for the planning of work flow, space requirements and
equipment layout;
Requirements:
We look for a University graduate in engineering with minimum 5 - 7 years’ experience in a fast paced
and progressive manufacturing environment with Automotive experience being a plus.
The person we look for should have thorough knowledge of engineering systems and excellent
understanding of manufacturing and engineering operations, strong mechanical and electrical
knowledge and aptitude and good experience in robotics.
Experience in RCM – reliability maintenance - including root cause failure analysis, condition based
maintenance, failure modes and effects analysis – is also expected as well as people management
experience.
Proficiency in using SAP, MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint) and excellent English are
mandatory, Italian language will be an advantage.
