· Served as senior technical writer assigned to Design Engineering group. Acted as sole in-house technical
writer/publications librarian. Responsible for maintaining approximately 250 civilian/military repair
publications for intermediate/depot level repair personnel. Primary products were electro-mechanical
aerospace actuators and brushless DC motor controllers. Research phase involved interpreting engineering
drawings, Bill of Materials and vendor-purchased equipment brochures.
· Performed procedural validation and verification on completed manuals to ensure accuracy and proper
tooling use.
· Familiar with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) used to create/revise
publications. Some basic use of CorelDraw graphic programs for creation of simplistic illustrations. Utilized
multiple PDF editing tools and SGML/XGML programs.
· Acted as primary point of contact for government-sponsored (USAF) requirement to create 15
repair/maintenance manuals in support of Boeing C-17 aircraft operations. Project involved working
closely with Boeing/Air Force personnel based at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. Hosted said personnel at our
facility to witness and validate written manual instructions for electro-mechanical actuators and associated
test equipment.
· Received Letter of Commendation from USAF for successful on-time/on-cost project completion.

· Gathered engineering data on-site at General Motors facilities and various machine shops to create operator
manuals and Lock Out/Tag out placards for various presses and CNC machines.

repair center personnel.
· Served as key point of contact for airline and repair center maintenance and procurement personnel to
effectively resolve technical questions in timely manner.
