Electrical Engineering is a field of engineering that generally deals with the study and
application of electricity, electronics and electromagnetism. This field first became an identifiable
occupation in the latter half of the 19th century after commercialization of the telegraphy, the
telephone, and electric power distribution and use. Subsequently, broadcasting and recording
media made electronics part of daily life. The invention of the transistor, and later the integrated
circuit, brought down the cost of electronics to the point they can be used in almost any
household object. Electrical Engineering has now subdivided into a wide range of sub fields
including electronics, digital computers, power engineering, telecommunications, radio-
frequency engineering, signal processing and instrumentation. The subject of electronic
engineering is often treated as its own sub field but it intersects with all the other sub fields,
including the power electronics of power engineering. SSR INSTITUTE

4 Years Diploma in Computer Engineering
The field of Computer Engineering studies the design, analysis, implementation and application
of computation and computer technology. Computing plays an important role in virtually all fields,
including science and medicine, music and art, business, law and human communication; hence
the study of Computer Engineering can be interdisciplinary in nature. A computer Engineer is
responsible for constructing and managing an organization's computer system and providing
technical support. A computer engineer typically works in an office or laboratory environment as
part of a team and enjoys a traditional work schedule. A computer engineer may a software
engineer, is responsible for developing, testing and evaluating the software that make our
computers work. They may help in the development of new computer games and business
applications, or even in the design of entirely new operating systems. Whether a student's goal is
to become a computing professional. SSR is committed to helping students gain the background
