Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
YANTRA E-MAGAZINE
DESCRIPTION
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is one of the most interesting areas of Research
& Development among all the other branch of engineering. As of today, Electronics and
Telecommunication Engineers are working in all spheres of modern industry, MNC’s, PSU’s etc.
The goal of this course is to import all around technical education to the students to fulfill the
needs of human beings in this era of digitalization as well as to find new way to solve the
practical problem of our daily life. The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication
Engineering was established in the year 2008-09. It includes a spirit of scientific research,
innovation and analytical thinking to excel the students in developing technologies in Electronics
and Telecommunication. The Department is well equipped with laboratories such as Linear
Integrated Circuits and Application, Microwave Communication and Engineering, Optical
Communication, Digital Signal Processing, Microcontroller and Programming, Electronic
Workshop etc.

4. From the desk of HOD
The Department is happy to bring out an e-magazine “YANTRA” for the students
of our department. This e-magazine is surely a channel to prove the hidden talents
of students and faculties. Appreciable job has been done by the Editorial team in
collecting and tabulating data. The Department has a vision to evolve as a field of
engineering with a difference in terms of quality and innovation. I request all my
students to concentrate on studies, co curricular and extracurricular activities by
the vision in mind and bring laurels to the department. My Best Wishes to all the
engineers.
Mr. Shailesh Kumar Nag
Assistant Professor and
Head of Department
5. From the editor’s desk
It has been a great pleasure in launching the e-magazine “YANTRA” which
creates a platform for exchanging ideas and technical skills of Electronics and
Telecommunication Engineering. At the launching of e-magzine we express our
gratitude to HOD Mr. Shailesh Kumar Nag for his valuable suggestions and
motivation for successful completion of first edition. The faculties and students
have come up with informative discussions on the recent trends which has been
made “YANTRA” an issue on contemporary ideas.
