transmission line. I am working in Supply Chain Management Department of BSNL NFS
OFC Telecom Project and my roles and responsibilities are as under:
 Discuss and Coordinate with Project Planning & Execution Team for Material
Requirement Planning as per L2 schedule for Smooth Execution of the Project.
 Coordination with Commercial Department for issuance of Purchase Orders to
respective Manufacturer of Materials as per contract awarded by the client.
 Coordinate with Manufacturer & Client for Material BPC & Endorsement for further
bulk production of entire material required for smooth execution of the project.
 Preparation of Manufacturing Clearance Note (MCN) and Consignee Wise Material
Requirement for hassle free material distribution and issuance to execution vendors.
 Follow up with Account & Finance Department for opening of LC/BG/Payment to
manufacturers to start the manufacturing of material as per PO and requirement of
project priorities.

 Follow up with Taxation Department for arranging Way Bills/Road Permits for hassle
free material delivery to all warehouses as per priority of project.
 Issuance of Way Bill/Road Permit and Dispatch Clearance (DI) to each
Manufacturer/Supplier as per material delivery schedule of the project.
 Monitoring of Vehicles/Trucks dispatched from manufacturer to respective warehouses
on daily basis and generates report with coordination of SCM team.
 Coordination between Client and Manufacturer for Factory Acceptance Test
(FAT)/Inspection of manufactured material in their manufacturing unit.
 Setting up of warehouse as per material transaction plan of the project.
 Arrangement of necessary infrastructure in each warehouse for smooth handling &
transportation of material.
 Optimum Manpower arrangement in each warehouse for smooth transaction of
material as per planning of execution team.
 Ensuring warehouse process followed as per plan of SCM, Project Planning &
Execution Team and PMO.
 Material Issuance & Reconciliation and generating DPR on daily basis for sending to all
concern department and person for smooth execution of the project.

 Line Material Procurement for all running transmission line project.
 Procurement of Raw Steel for Transmission & Telecom Tower Manufacturing Unit of
the Company situated at Kala Amb (HP).

Projects in my tenure from Voltage Class of 66 kV to 765 kV S/C & D/C EHV
Transmission Lines for different Power Utilities of India such as Power Grid, Sterlite,
BSPTCL, HPTCL, TATA, PTCUL, IRCON, RVPNL etc.
 Company achieved & successfully executed three pilling projects in JV with BSCPL for
Power Grid (Project Value approx. 200 Cr.) in my tenure.
