Pre Contract Stage:

 Scrutinize, review of tender drawings/documents for discrepancies,
additional BOQ items/scope and incorporating within the tender offer;
liaise with consultant regarding ambiguities contract work scope and seek
clarifications there to.
 Quantity Take Off for all Civil elements (manually, A-CAD) based on
pricing preambles and compiling the Tender BOQ with description.
 Analysis of rates for Labour, Material and Plant (fixed and variable)
and thus assist build up costing, pricing and analysis of direct and indirect
cost for the BOQ items.
 Maintain vendors data base, Floating Enquiries to subcontractors and
suppliers.
 Analyse and compare quotations received at bid stage and clarifying
exclusions/qualifications within.
 Compilation of tender/bid offer submissions.
 Any additional task assigned by General Manager.
Post Contract Stage:
 Preparing and agreeing payments applications/valuations so that
payment is received in accordance with the terms of the contract
conditions; Works progress.
 Maintain logs for claims and thereby agreeing variations/change orders.
 Preparing and compiling variation claim document with all relevant
substantiation to the satisfaction of the Engineer/Employer.
 Prepare & Compile “Final Accounts Payment application” with
relevant substantiation and documents as per contract obligations.
 Analyse and Recommend Subcontract payment application based on
actual progress of Scope of work.
 Attend progress meetings and provide updates to Client with projection
of costs as required; Visit Site as and when required to monitor progress,
Preparing Payment Application / progress payment claim against Value of
Work done for measured works, Variations/Change orders, Material On-
Site/Off-Site, Fluctuations, Special payments in accordance with contract;
 Any additional task assigned by superior.
 Writing Project Proposal.
 Meeting clients / consultant for explaining and to receive soft copy of
structural and Architectural drawing to prepare the estimation.
 Studying Architectural and Structural drawing to Prepare Estimation
sheet and Cost comparison sheet with various optional application system
for construction.
 Implementing structural drawings to client and consultant get approval.
 Preparing the Quotation with responsibilities, scope of work and
payment terms of both parties.
 Coordinating with Store keeper to check the stock availability to
mobilize the material to site after the partial payment issued by first party.
 Arranging meeting at site with site engineer and supervisor to explain
the site condition and to introduce the project manager or construction
manager for mutual understanding to carry the work without any miss
understanding or error.
 Ongoing sites visits and meeting clients / consultant / project managers
to ensure the progress and satisfaction.

 Sending RFQ (Request for Quotation) form to manufacturer to get the
Performa invoice to confirm the order along with payment confirmation.
 Coordinating with material mobilizer from Dubai to Qatar until it reach
safely to our store.
 Updating to our inventory and forwarding copy to management.
 Weekly checking on tools and machineries to make sure it is in
working condition and maintained properly.
