2. ROM Read only memory
It is a permanent type of memory.
Its content are not lost when the power supply is switched off.
When the computer gets switched on, all the information comes
from the ROM memory to switch on the computer.
ROM stores all the application which is needed to boot the
computer initially. So with ROM you don't need to do the things
you have already done, you can save it and you won't have to do
it again.
The ROM memory allows the user to read the information on the
computer. It's used to store the start-up instructions for a
computer
4. RAM
WHAT IS RAM?
RAM:Random-access memory. It is a
temporarily store of information. It is
one of the most important components in
all devices, from PCs, smartphones and
game consoles. Without RAM, doing
anything would be much slower.
A RAM can easily be replaced. The cost
depends on the memory. If it has more
memory it is more expensive (15-100€)

memory, is computer memory that requires
power to maintain the stored information; it
retains its contents while powered on but when
the power is interrupted, the stored data is
quickly lost. Volatile memory has several uses
including as primary storage.
