introduced to Adrienne Rowland while she was working as an Operation Specialist for Dr. Stacey D.
McJunkins, Interim Superintendent of Thornton Township High School District 205. Due to the nature of
my position as Director of Human Resources, I have had the opportunity to work closely with Adrienne on
a variety of projects. She was instrumental in assisting me with interviewing and selecting an
Administrative Assistant for the Interim Superintendent. Adrienne has been a pleasure to work within the
district. Her pleasant and positive attitude made the work environment enjoyable and interesting.
As the Director of Human Resources, Adrienne has assisted me with drafting letters in response to
inquiries and/or concerns that require investigating the issue, obtaining the details and responding
quickly. It was during that time when I learned that Adrienne has the analytical skills to diagnose
problems and devise practical solutions. Additionally, Adrienne has excellent communication skills, is
extremely organized, reliable and computer literate. She has demonstrated the ability to be a “self
starter” and to work independently on various projects simultaneously. Her strong work ethic and problem
