I have had the opportunity to work with children of all abilities from ages 0 to 17
while teaching for the public, private, and alternative education systems in Marion
County. I thoroughly enjoy working for and with children, families, and
communities and am seeking a career that will allow me to continue working in
this capacity in many different ways.

SupportProgram for the Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida to prevent
child abuse in Marion County
 Interpret data for diagnosis, planning, and program evaluation.
 Assist in the enforcement of rules, administrative regulations and board
policies.
 Instruct and supervise the work of personnel when applicable.
 Assess family risk factors based on the Protective Factors criteria; provide
recommendations, community resources, information, and referral if
necessary.
 Ability to plan and implement activities for maximum effectiveness.
 .Knowledge of use of current technology.
 Manage time, materials, and equipment.
 Supportand coordinate public awareness for parent education including
acquiring regular feedback from community partners and family
participants.
 Assist with pursuing and securing funding sources, including writing grants.
 Provide presentations and trainings to the community on family related
issues.
 Recommend new parent program designs based on the guidelines of the
Leadership Council.
