The ARC Santa Rosa is where I completed my 120 hour internship required for SOW3503 Introduction to
Generalist Practice placement. At the ARC my duties included: Calling roll and assisting the individuals
in preparing for a morning stretching and exercise routine Leading small groups: how to count money, tell
time, multiplication tables, cooking, and manners
Daily lesson plans included low intensity exercise, educational activities, and social opportunities for the
individuals to practice engaging and interacting with one another in an appropriate manner so that they
may be higher functioning and more autonomous beyond classroom walls.
