In this session, we are going to learn about
Creation of the Blend shapes
Blend shape is a part of rigging as well as animation inside Autodesk Maya
software. To have blend shape you have to at first make a model and copy
the same model into various that means you have to duplicate the model.
After the duplication of the model you have to save the maine model which
you have duplicated the other one and after that, you have to modify
remaining models one by one. That means if you are taking any character
face that means you can change the shape of the remaining face like a
smile, angly, happy etc into its facial expression then it will directly effect
your main model through blend shape. So inside the blend shape, it has
many modification values and parameter which you can edit accordingly to
have a smooth animation view.
So here you can see the models have been duplicate so that the main model
will be saved and the remaing models will be edited and finally we will use
the blend shape to capture all the remaining expression on the first model.
So a copy of the same model is very important so that all the polygons and
its vertex will be the same at all the models.

So here we are using the brush tool to have paint selection and also we have
to use the soft selection and increase or decrease the size of the brush
according to our need.
Here the selection into the face at different parts is been selected so that the
model will have good values of an expression.

So here you can see the changing into its shape has been done where the
expression on the face can be seen in the model.
All the shapes have been changed into the models where different
expression on the same duplicated model has been given.

Now will select all the models which are been duplicated from that particular
main model.
And will go to the create deformers where we will get blend shape into it.
And if we will go to its blend shape window pannel we will get more options
from it.

Now we will have the option of the blend shape and will apply from it.
As all the pannels will be setted now its time for it to animate from the
channel box editor throught the keys. Will put certain keys to animate it
along the timeline.

As the modifier is been setted now its time to run along the timeline so that
we can see the animation of it. So we have to put keyframes into the
timeline and to have a smooth animation we have to use the graph editor
and the dope sheet into it.
