I get to know about many events in Platinum city through posters and from my wife. I really wish to
attend some of these events and meetings. However, due to my tight schedule and appointments I
don’t seem to find the time to attend. I came to know my neighbors through helping them out at

the society.
SCENARIOS
Scenario One

A new block has been inaugurated in Platinum city. Mrs. Pratibha Rao is the head of the Platinum City Cultural
Committee and thinks that it would be a great idea to organize a get together between the old and the new
residents. Hence she creates a poll asking other members of the cultural club to express their feelings about the
idea.

She uses her Milaap device at home to create a poll and sends it forth to all the members of the cultural
committee. She receives a positive reply from the other members and proceeds to organize the event. She again
uses the “Facilities” tab in Milaap to check the availability of the club house and book it for the weekend.

She then uses the communication tab in Milaap to send personal invites to all the new residents asking them to
attend the event. Thanks to Milaap all the new residents receive the communication on time and decide to
attend the get together. The event is a great success and it becomes a platform for the residents to exchange
ideas and make new friends.

Mrs. Prathiba meets Mrs. Verma a new resident who is an active member of an NGO working for creating a
greener Bangalore. Mrs. Prathiba sees an opportunity for realising her dormant idea of making Platinum city a
green society by spreading awareness about the same and shares the idea with Mrs. Verma who seems very
enthusiastic about it. They decide to take this up in the next Society meeting.

she is seldom at home and has no time or interest to attend the various activities that happened in her society. In

This weekend has not been quite a boring weekend for her as all her friends have left for their native places.
Bored by the lack of activity she goes to pick up a magazine from the magazine rack. She see the notification light
in her Milaap device blinking and decides to have a look at the activities that have been scheduled for the
weekend.

She finds that there is a cooking class being scheduled for in the evening and being passionate about cooking
decides to attend it. She finds the class quite interesting and makes new friends during the class. She stumbles
upon Rita who is a Italian food buff and being an Italian cuisine fan herself, Sujata and Rita get on pretty well
together. Coincidentally Rita lives on the same floor as Sujata and tells her about the cooking fans group that they
have and the various other people in the building who its members.

Sujata goes home and checks out the Groups module under the Communication tab in Milaap. She finds the
cooking fans club and joins it. On joining she gets access to the scheduled set of activities for the group in which
there is a call for someone to take a pizza making class. Being an expert pizza maker Sujata signs decides to take
