1. FINAL
PROJECTWe begin the final
project week 14.
The project is due
Week 15.
No work will be accepted after Week 15.
2. ESSENTIAL
QUESTION
Each humanities course is guided by an
ESSENTIAL QUESTION. You are going to
address this question and create a
solution. You will present that solution in
three ways: 1) visual communication, 2)
written communication, and 3) oral
communication.
3. ANSWER THE
QUESTIONAIM FOR 150 WORDS. Answer the
question. Be comprehensive yet
concise. Meaning make every word
count and be sure you actually answer
the question. Take a firm yes/no,
for/against, pro/con stance.
4. MAKE A VISUAL AID
VISUAL
COMMUNICATION. Make
some kind of visual aid that
represents the question and
your answer. You should
spend about three hours on
this.
Some examples include:
COLLAGE INFOGRAPHIC WEBSITE
PAINTING BLOG ENTRIES TRADING CARDS
TRI-FOLD POSTER SCRAPBOOK MICRO-VIDEO
5. MAKE YOUR REPORT
AIM FOR 3-5 MINUTES. Make a
video of yourself reviewing the
question, answering the question,
explaining your visual aid, explaining
how you made your visual aid, and
explaining how your visual aid
connects to the question.
6. ALTERNATIVE
AIM FOR 600-800 WORDS. If you do
not want to make a video of yourself,
you may do an alternative writing
assignment. You will address the
same question (see previous slide),
but do so in a reflective essay.
